Closed Doors reminds us to pause and fellowship with our God. To seek His face rather than His hand and all He can give us. To meet with Him, to abide with Him.
“But when you pray, go into your most private room, close the door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees [what is done] in secret will reward you.” Matthew 6:6 (AMP)

I sense in my spirit that the Lord is calling many to “SHUT THE DOOR and pray to your Father” (Mt. 6:6). This time behind closed doors is a time of a refreshing – a washing in the word and the flow of the Spirit. As you press-in in that secret place behind closed doors there is a refreshing of the spirit – a rebuilding, a renewal. Angelic encounters and revealing of the deep mysteries. God desires to share His thoughts; the question is will we take the time to sit with Him that He might share. That level of sharing requires great intimacy. It is worth cultivating that closeness and ardent affection.
{sensing} Silence. Then a stirring, a blowing of the wind of the Spirit – a flutter of an angel’s wings. A rippling of the water at your feet – cool and gentle. Then a stirring in the water as a light from above gradually begins to increase – the glow of divine light warming your face. An alerting in your spirit – a sensing of His presence, He is hovering here. A swirling in the heavenlies. A faint sound of the angels crying, “Holy!” An impartation. Receive. Relax into Him and receive.

Father, thank You that You so desire relationship with us. Thank You for meeting us when we choose to close doors and dwell with You. We are open to Your heart, and lay ours bare before You. We invite You to rest here, fellowship with us as we seek Your face simply for the joy of knowing You.
