Treasure Most Worthy

Treasure Most Worthy reminds us that a life poured out – a heart given freely – is a gift most worthy, a treasure to our God; and when we offer ourselves to Him unconditionally, He also pours His blessing – His treasure – back upon us, and it is a treasure most worthy of our sacrifice. 

• Matthew 6:33 (TPT) So above all, constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.
• Matthew 13:45-46 (VOICE) …the kingdom of heaven is like a jeweler on the lookout for the finest pearls. When he found a pearl more beautiful and valuable than any jewel he had ever seen, the jeweler sold all he had and bought that pearl, his pearl of great price.
• Matthew 6:30 (MSG) If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving . People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.

Mark 10:21 (TPT) Jesus fixed his gaze upon the man, with tender love, and said to him, “Yet there is still one thing in you lacking. Go, sell all that you have and give the money to the poor. Then all of your treasure will be in heaven. After you’ve done this, come back and walk with me.”

Isaiah 33:5-6 (AMP) The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness. And He will be the security and stability of your times, A treasure of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; The fear of the Lord is your treasure.”

A person’s true treasure is the kingdom of heaven; the heart of God, our Adonai. He is calling us to lay down all the things, relationships, preconceived ideas and beliefs that keep us from running whole heartedly after Him. He desires for us to be like little children. A visual I have is when a person a child loves and delights in walks into the room that child lays down whatever they are doing and runs to be with that person. God’s deepest desire is for us to be like a child and run to be with Him and join Him in whatever He is doing.

God desires to be our soul focus because He has so much treasure He wants to share with us. He is overflowing with anticipation! He can hardly contain His excitement and joy! The thing that hinders Him from sharing all His treasure with us is our idea and belief of what treasure is. We tend to hold on to earthly treasure like possessions, position, status, relationships and more. The true treasure is heavenly kingdom treasure and this treasure comes from being fully with God. 

The only way a person can truly be fully with God is to be willing to lay down everything to chase after Him. We have to be willing to let go of control, plans, ideas, visions of who we want to be in order for God to reveal to us who He created us to be. We have to be willing to walk in child like faith, trusting that God will provide for every need and every desire He has placed in our hearts. As we seek Him out He will pour down the treasures of wisdom, joy, strength, peace, love, patience, gentleness and so much more. He will take care of us and provide for every need and God-given desire as we lay down our earthly life, and pursue Him and His heavenly treasure. Ultimately, we are God’s treasure and He wants us to see Him as our true treasure. 

Matthew 6:19-21 (AMP) “Do not store up for yourselves [material] treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also.”

Matthew 13:44 (AMP) “The kingdom of heaven is like a [very precious] treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field [securing the treasure for himself].”

Would you focus on worldly things that pass away and have no substance? Or would you choose to focus on things of true value? Love well. Be kind. Make a difference. And most importantly, seek out spiritual matters – go deep, for there is so much to know.”

John 6:10-13 (TPT) … So on the vast grassy slope, more than five thousand hungry people sat down. Jesus then took the barley loaves and the fish and gave thanks to God. He then gave it to the disciples to distribute to the people. Miraculously, the food multiplied, with everyone eating as much as they wanted. When everyone was satisfied, Jesus told his disciples, “Now go back and gather up the pieces left over so that nothing will be wasted.” The disciples filled up twelve baskets of fragments, a basket of leftovers for each disciple.

The keys to multiplication in ministry is remembering that there is always more than enough. It is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. You do not have to beg for your portion because you have Christ and Christ is the very Bread from Heaven and the Word of Life. 

Like the loaves of bread and fishes, what you have to give to others will always come from of the overflow of your relationship with God. Your daily portion of His life and your daily portion of His Word are first and foremost for you. When the time comes to minister to others, seek God’s face and He will bless and multiply your portion.

Has someone come knocking on your door for bread or fish? Look into your cupboards, that miraculous storehouse of your heart. What is sustaining you today from His Word? What is the encouragement He has poured into your cup? What is the gentle correction that has shifted your thoughts and attitudes back towards Him? What is the revelation that you see bubbling forth from His Spirit at this hour? 

Beloved, take a portion of what you have received and watch God multiply it. You will find that you will always have more than enough to give to others—and even some left over!

A Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “Allow My Spirit-Wind to Move You.”

John 3:5-6 (TPT) Jesus answered, “I speak an eternal truth: Unless you are born of water and Spirit-wind, you will never enter God’s kingdom realm. For the natural realm can only give birth to things that are natural, but the spiritual realm gives birth to supernatural life!

Beloved, pursue Me. Seek hard after the things of heaven, and expect the wind of My Spirit to blow. Be intentional to cultivate your spiritual senses. That which you focus on, you make room for. If you want more of My Spirit, make room by focusing in, and hone your senses so that you might receive.

I AM always eager and ready to interact with My children. If you press into Me, I will press in to you. The depth of relationship available to you with Me is fathomless. So spread wide your arms and throw back your head, and allow My Spirit-wind to move you.

Beloved, search the heavens and see the beauty I have placed there for you to behold. Let your gaze become fixed on the grandeur of My creation set before you. Allow My heavenly handiwork to catch your attention and draw you in towards Me. Lift your eyes to My vast display in the heavens and be pulled even closer to Me. Allow the brilliance of My handiwork to capture your attention; as you settle your gaze on Me. Let the intricacies of My splendor draw you in – pulling you yet deeper into My beauty and mystery. 

The more you gaze in wonder, the more I am seen by you – revealed to you. Be intoxicated by My awe and majesty. Be transfixed and unable to look away. Be drawn deeper into the mysteries of Me. Cultivate in yourself a hunger for knowing Me. Choose to keep your gaze steadfastly fixed on Me and don’t look away – be intentional to search for Me. Look beyond what first meets the eyes. Be transformed by the awe and wonder of who I AM. 

I call to you. I call for you to lift your eyes and fix them on My depths above. And as your eyes (and the eyes of your heart) scan the heavens, new realms open before you. As you seek, your heart begins to understand the great magnitude of who I AM, and it begins to filter into your heart and mind, pulling you even closer to Me. As you look more closely, you’ll find an amazing sense of awe fills your heart – an overflow of adoration is the natural outcome of this closeness to Me. The more you stand in My beauty and presence, the more your heart bows in adoration of Me. Allow those new senses to be awakened in you. The magnitude of My depth will be revealed as well as an even greater depth within you, if you allow yourself to be drawn to Me. So fix your gaze, beloved, and allow your heart to soar to new heights and be revealed new depths. Seek to fathom Me, the fathomless God.

So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen!

The first Prophetic Nugget is called “Partner with Me.”

Ephesians 3:14-15 (TPT) So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth.

Beloved, I existed before the earth began. I know every creature, every mountain, every stream – everyone and everything. I AM Creator. And as you create and innovate, remember you are functioning in My anointing. 

Allow My Holy Spirit to lead you and inspire your thoughts and ideas. I AM with you always, but refuse to allow the access to My presence to create a sense of its being commonplace. I AM not common, I AM God. I AM Lord of all. See Me as I AM, and parter with Me. Together the possibilities are endless.

The second Prophetic Nugget is called “Let Me Lead You.”

Ephesians 3:16 (TPT) And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.

Beloved, you are capable of so much more than you understand – if you will simply yield to me. Resist the temptation to move in your own strength, and instead lean on Me. Allow the fullness of My glory to be manifest in you.

Beloved, I AM able – beyond able – to lead you further, take you deeper, and empower you more greatly than you ever thought possible. There is no impossible with Me. So align with My plans and trust My heart. Let Me lead you. 

The third Prophetic Nugget is called “Draw from Me.”

Ephesians 3:17 (TPT) Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.

Beloved, I AM the source of life – of creativity and inspiration. Draw from Me. Drink deeply from the well of My love and know truth and freedom. For I AM the giver of life, and I AM the Creator. 

Look to Me, beloved, as your source because nothing else can satisfy. Just as a tree’s roots burrow deep for nourishment and stability, so you should root yourself in Me. For I AM your foundation. I AM your truth. And I AM your all in all.

The fourth Prophetic Nugget is called “You are Beloved by Me.”

Ephesians 3:18-19 (TPT) Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!

Beloved, if you were to try to quantify My love for you, your calculations would fall woefully short. My love for you cannot be measured. It cannot be contained or qualified. Nothing can cause My passion for you to cool, nor can anything you say or do cause Me to withhold it or change My mind. 

I love you. So choose to receive My love. Let it be life changing. Live as one who is fully known and fully loved. Allow My love to be your firm foundation and the core of your identity. You are beloved by Me. May everything else flow from that love.

The fifth Prophetic Nugget is also called “Partner with Me.”

Ephesians 3:20 (TPT) Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.

Beloved, I AM capable of more than you can even dream of. So resist the urge to box Me in by your expectations or lack of faith. Instead trust that I AM who I say I AM, and that am capable of all I say I AM and more. 

Then see what I can do through you as you yield to My plans in favor of your own. Simply allow yourself to be a yielded vessel for Me to move through. Together we can accomplish far beyond your wildest imaginations, so partner with Me.

The sixth Prophetic Nugget is called “Move Mightily Through You.”

Ephesians 3:21 (TPT) Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen!

Beloved, in your successes and your victories remember to give honor to Me. Allow the miraculous that I do through you to serve as a demonstration of who I AM and how I move through My children. 

Be intentional to be Kingdom minded. Make your primary concern that all would see and know Me. For I AM the giver of life – the restorer and redeemer. Allow Me to move mightily through you so that I may be seen, and refuse to do anything to hinder that view. For I AM the God of the impossible because nothing is impossible with Me.

The first Prophetic Nugget is called “Ask in Faith.”

2 Kings 2:9 (VOICE) After the two had made it to the other side of the Jordan, Elijah spoke to Elisha. Elijah: Tell me what it is you would like me to do for you before I am taken away from you. Elisha: Please, I wish to receive a double portion of your spirit. As your successor, I want to have twice the portion of your power.

Beloved, if anointing is what you seek, don’t be afraid to ask. I love to empower My children, and I love to work through you. For those who are willing and tenacious in their faith, I AM able to do amazing and awesome things. 

So if you desire to move powerfully on My behalf, cultivate relationship with Me and ask boldly. For I have given you access because of My love for you, so approach Me without hesitation, and ask in faith expecting Me to respond.

The second Prophetic Nugget is called “A Yielded Vessel Bears Much Fruit.”

2 Kings 2:10 (VOICE) Elijah:  What you have requested of me is challenging, but it will be done if you witness my departure. But if you do not watch, then you will not have your double portion.

Beloved, you desire increase, but remember it often comes as a result of obedience and vigilance. Be sensitive to My Spirit’s leadings and you don’t miss a thing. Be ready and alert, and – when I give direction – be quick to obey.

Remember, beloved, your understanding isn’t required for you to be obedient. Step out in faith. Trust My direction. Trust I’ll bring loving correction when needed. So obey and trust, and then watch as I increase the powerful ways I move through you. A yielded vessel bears much fruit.

{Artist note} This piece, created as a commissioned piece of art, originated with the spiritual stirrings Naudia (a member of the Dyed4you Team) had that was shared in the first prophetic download. As she shared what she’d received with me, she released me to create the artistic rendition as Papa led. Creating someone else’s vision is always an interesting challenge, and not one I always will take on – it depends if I feel a stirring for it as well, which obviously in this case I did. 

What was interesting was that as this piece turned out nothing like either of us expected it to visually, and yet we could see where God was going with it. It’s soft of fun when God “surprises” us like that! It began with me sensing the surrendered posture – I knew it needed to be someone on their knees. I began looking through the images I’ve taken and this on was highlighted and it was as though I could see him offering his heart in humility and surrender – beautiful! 

Next I began to see what seemed like glory swirling above his head and coming down with direct connection to his proffered gift. In one sense it’s like a simple exchange – except neither gift is given for the purpose of receiving the other – they’re simply given from love without exception. 

Father, may our hearts be so pure. May we give without expectation or condition. May we trust You and Your love implicitly. And may You make Yourself large in our lives as You overtake us with Your blessings.
