Excited to introduce this week’s release: God of Compassion (El Rachum). This piece began as a stirring in my heart that was confirmed when one of our Dyed4you team members shared a prophetic download on tears (Journey of Destiny). As I began sharing the Prophetic Nuggets that went with this piece on the Author Meghan Williams facebook page, one of our long-time friends and part of the Dyed4you Community reached out to say how much they were ministering to her, and so I shared the in-progress version of God of Compassion (El Rachum). She told me immediately she wanted to get it, and wings of the silk that was in it, and she added Hebrew to the silks. This week’s release began as a nonproprietary commissioned art piece (and I’m so grateful because it meant I could release it, which I know will be a blessing to all of you). It is called One Body and it is also available as a Dyed4you Art flag called Unity in Christ. The piece was inspired by another artist’s work (see below), which stirred the original idea for the individual who commissioned the piece for a flag (also see below). We’re very sensitive not to counterfeit anyone else’s work, so it wasn’t until after much prayer, dialog on what they were seeking, and God giving us the stirrings of an idea that we took on the commission. A while back, I “accidentally” ordered the wrong size printcards of a couple of Dyed4you Art pieces (one of which was Anointed for War: Rallied Warriors). After getting over being frustrated at my mistake and annoyed at having “wasted the money” getting them, God told me He had a purpose for them and to give them away as He directed. So when prompted, I include one when I ship an order. We got to hear about someone else who was blessed by the Anointed for War: Rallied Warriors mini printcard (Beautiful Tallit and Confirming Art), and here is someone else who was blessed by hers. This recipient received a surprise second portrait (which resulted in our first multi-art word). She had ordered a Prophetic “Portrait” with silk and upsized to a 16×20 as well as ordering a mismatched pair of wings (which ended up being the silks in the other piece). This is a lovely glimpse into a sweet moment where one of our Dyed4you Community was giving honor to someone in her life by gifting her a Dyed4you Art gift set that included an 8×10 photographic print of Honored (which she had framed – it’s beautiful!), a beautiful Dyed4you Ministry Crinkle Silk called Whom Honor is Due, and she added an anointing oil called Accepted in the Beloved. Though the video captures the beginning of this moment (at one point you hear her reading a Prophetic Nugget called Giving and Receiving Honor), you can see how much she enjoys them, by the end once all the words connected to the gift had been read and the full weight of what Papa was saying to her had sunk in, she was sobbing. Completely wrecked in the most beautiful way. God is so beautiful in how He loves on His children! Continue reading
Excited to introduce our newest release: Honored. This piece was originally inspired as I sat in church watching an elder (I mean that literally, not as a title). I was pondering how beautiful it was that he was given such beautiful honor and respect from my pastor (as well as the congregation as a whole), often being given the platform to share thoughts – never being rushed – his wisdom always appreciated. I felt moved to create a piece of art both specifically to capture that feel as well as to be a specific blessing to him. And he was blessed! This piece has been gifted several times now since it’s creation and each time it’s been such a blessing. People have been moved, encouraged, humbled, and completely blown away. These pieces were inspired from a conversation with my dear friend Gloria Board, author of the book series Learn Haitian Creole. I have had a heart for Haiti for years with a husband who has gone on several missions trips there as well as a close friend being from there – it really isn’t surprising. 🙂 Additionally, Dyed4you Ministries has a Ayiti (Mountainous Land) silk (used in the Heart for Ayiti art) that was inspired by the colors in the Haitian flag. We pray both the art, its word, and the silk are a blessing to you and encourage you to look at Gloria’s book if you are interested in learning Creole. I often will include a Dyed4you Art card with a note when I ship an order (not always, but as the Lord leads). I always ask Him which card to include when I feel led to do it and typically the card is never mentioned again. Since this was our first official Prophetic “Portrait”, it was exciting to get such beautiful feedback. She opted to upsize from the standard 8×10 to an 11×14 gift set with a large silk, and when she found out I was making flags to use in her art, she got those as well (video of them below). 🙂 Continue reading
Recently someone received a 16×20 of Night Revelation as a prophetic choice Dyed4you Art piece. As it happens, this recipient has been plagued by night terrors for several years – you can imagine how frustrating and tiring it would be to have your sleep (not to mention your peace) constantly being stolen from you. So when Father picked Night Revelation, which includes in its word a declaration that Father is redeeming the time spent in sleep, and it specificalling includes that He’s ending night terrors – well, the recipient was blown away and weeping at God’s goodness! The image include several personal elements including the baby’s actual footprints (upper left) and an image of the parents (lower center). The recipients were blessed by the gift.
