Active Duty depicts one who is backed by the LORD and His heavenly hosts as he wields his sword – the word of God – in spiritual battle. He is prepared, ready, and now active.
“The word of God, you see, is alive and moving; sharper than a double-edged sword; piercing the divide between soul and spirit, joints and marrow; able to judge the thoughts and will of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 (VOICE)
“Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;” Psalms 144:1 (ESV)
“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7 (AMPC)
Questing Gaze represents us keeping our eyes on the Creator (YHVH Bore), the Revealer of Mysteries (Gelah Raz); letting our hearts cry out to Him that He might answer.
“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV)
“My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you.” Isaiah 26:9a (ESV)
“Can you search out the deep things of God? Can you find out the totality of the Almighty? It is as high as heaven; what can you do? Deeper than Sheol; what can you know? Its measure is longer than the earth and broader than the sea.” Job 11:7-9 (MEV)
Pervasive Light represents YHVH Ori (the LORD my Light) shining forth, His light dispelling the darkness, revealing the hidden things, bringing hope and salvation. And we, His children, reflect His light, prophesy His word, allow our very selves to bear witness to Him.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 (ESV)
Hidden in Him embodies the moment where though chaos is trying to reign, we’ve instead chosen to hide in Him and allow Him to protect us as He has promised.
“The eternal God is your refuge and dwelling place, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He drove out the enemy from before you…” Deuteronomy 33:27 AMP
“He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions, And under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and a wall.” Psalm 91:4 AMP
Without Excuse shows us how the beauty of God’s creation reflects His majesty and reminds us that His existence is affirmed in His handiwork.
“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” Romans 1:20 (NLT)
Noble & Steadfast depicts a watchman not growing weary in the battle – remembering what we’re fighting for is worth the effort and we are not alone.
And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. Galatians 6:9 (AMP) Continue reading
Praise Him reminds us that ALL creation is to praise Him and rejoice in the blessings He has poured out on us.
“Praise the Lord from the heavens! Praise Him from the skies! …Let every created thing give praise to the Lord, for He issued his command, and they came into being. Praise the Lord from the earth, you creatures of the ocean depths… wild animals and all livestock, small scurrying animals and birds… Let them all praise the name of the Lord. For His name is very great; His glory towers over the earth and heaven!” Psalm 148:1, 5, 7, 10, 13 NLT Continue reading
Reflections of Grandeur depicts the glory of His creation, all declaring that He is.
“They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” Romans 1:19-20 NLT Continue reading
