La Vie en Rose

La Vie en Rose (literally “Life in Pink”) represents seeing life through rose-colored glasses – the eyes of love – a deep love between the God and His beloved…you.

“We love because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19 (ESV)

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness (graciousness, mercy, compassion) endures forever.” Psalm 136:1 (AMP)

“My steadfast love I will keep for him forever, and my covenant will stand firm for him. I will not violate my covenant or alter the word that went forth from my lips.” Psalm 89:28, 34 (ESV)

It’s as though the Lord sees you through rose-colored glasses (la vie en rose) because He sees you through the blood – His gaze is fixed and He is enraptured. His love for you is incomprehensible! All He sees are your dove’s eyes – pure, unblemished, lovely.

It may seem odd for lyrics to a secular song to be part of a word, but Father is saying this song is to be taken as between you and Him. This is the Louie Armstrong version of La Vie en Rose, “Hold me close and hold me fast | The magic spell you cast | This is la vie en rose | When you kiss me heaven sighs | And though I close my eyes | I see la vie en rose | When you press me to your heart | I’m in a world apart | A world where roses bloom | And when you speak | Angels sing from above | Everyday words seems | To turn into love song | Give your heart and soul to me | And life will always be la vie en rose”

{sensing} An ancient pathway. Love is HIS ancient pathway, because HE is love.  Purification. As you are purified, you will see HIM all around you in a new way. He has covenanted with you an eternal unbreakable covenant (promise) of love. He invites you to walk with Him on the ancient pathway of love.
