Window of Heaven

WindowofHeaven_SMWindow of Heaven represents the windows in heaven awaiting being thrown open to pour out a blessing far beyond what you can contain.

“Bring the whole tenth into the storehouse, so that there will be food in my house, and put me to the test,” says Adonai-Tzva’ot [LORD of Hosts]. “See if I won’t open for you the floodgates of heaven and pour out for you a blessing far beyond your needs.” Malachi 3:10 (CJB)

The windows of heaven hold royal glory – the splendor and beatific happiness of heaven (glory defined by Merriam-Webster). Beatific happiness is complete happiness, bliss; that is what Father has for us, ready to pour out.

Revelation 3:7 states, “…Here is the message of HaKadosh [Holy One], the True One, the one who has the key of David, who, if he opens something, no one else can shut it, and if he closes something, no one else can open it.” This makes it clear when the LORD moves nothing can stop what He is doing. This is a comfort to those who believe because we can rest in the knowledge that He moves on our behalf. We see clearly in His word His character and nature – the intricacies of how He moves. So when He challenges us in Malachi 3:10 to test Him, we KNOW He will stand true to His word. The question is will we do our part so He will open the windows of heaven and rain down a blessing we cannot contain.

Father, may we be faithful with the provision You bless us with. May we remember that all we have is by Your hand, we are merely stewards of that which You place in our care. May we be found faithful as stewards, using all You give us in a way that is pleasing to You and in obedience to Your instruction.
