Beauty Breaking Through reminds us that regardless of our outer beauty (which can often take so much attention since it is clearly visible to all), our inner beauty is worth cultivating as much if not more – for that beauty radiates outward, transcends time, and speaks to the love, joy, and peace in our heart.
- Isaiah 60:1 (VOICE) Arise, shine, for your light has broken through! The Eternal One’s brilliance has dawned upon you. See truly; look carefully—darkness blankets the earth; people all over are cloaked in darkness. But God will rise and shine on you; the Eternal’s bright glory will shine on you, a light for all to see.
- Exodus 34:29 (VOICE) When Moses went back down Mount Sinai, he carried the two stone tablets in his hands as a witness to their agreement. But he did not realize that the skin on his face was glowing and radiant because he had been speaking with God.
- Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP) The Lord bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you]; The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor], And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness]; The Lord lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval], And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].
The “COUNTENANCE ” card from D4Yart Deck 3 is connected to this. The card is based on the “King of Glory (variation)” Dyed4you Art piece, and it reads, “Our countenance – our bearing or expression – reflects much truth about our internal condition (just as it does with others). So may we cultivate our inner landscape with much intention and love that it might reflect in our outer countenance. For doing so creates a beauty that transcends time and age, and is a blessing not only to ourselves but those around us.”

{hearing} “Dark but lovely.” In Song of Songs chapter 1, the bride speaks of how her time in the field—which you can think of as her life experiences—essentially shows in her very flesh. They are apparent in her visage. And yet, despite this fact (or perhaps because of it), she is lovely.
In the same way, regardless of where you have come from and what you have walked through, you are beautiful—and perhaps even more lovely for having walked through those trials and experiences. God is not less interested in you for having walked through those circumstances. No, in fact, the King of Kings is “enthralled with your beauty” (Psalm 45:11).
He sees you as worthy of love, one worth cherishing, and a treasure worth taking care of and protecting. He hides you in the shadow of His wing—holding you close—nurturing and protecting you.
Allow your view of yourself to align fully with His view. Embrace the truth of who you are: dark but lovely—one whom life has touched and challenged, but who has persevered and whose loveliness has captured the attention of the King.

Song of Songs 4:1 (TPT) Listen, my dearest darling, you are so beautiful—you are beauty itself to me! Your eyes glisten with love, like gentle doves behind your veil. What devotion I see each time I gaze upon you. You are like a sacrifice ready to be offered.
Beloved, see yourself as I see you – beautiful and radiant in all your splendor. Nothing in creation comes close to the glory of you. Resist the urge to view yourself superficially, or to allow the thoughts and words of man to distort your view. Just as a newly minted dollar has the same value as one that is wrinkled and torn, see your value in truth and not by shallow measures.
I see you as glorious and breathtaking, and anyone seeing with spiritual eyes will see the same. Be mindful to view others through the same rose-colored spiritual eyes that I ask you to view yourself. Each of you has been created with intention, in My image, and is worthy of love and blessing. Reflect it out just as I desire it for you – and as you want to receive.

My bride, as much as possible, choose to see yourself the way that I see you. Let the words you speak and think towards yourself align with what I would say and think of you. I am not ashamed, disgusted, or displeased with you. You are My precious creation, in whom I find much delight.
I tell you, even in your shortcomings and failings, there is beauty. Yes, the gravity of the world pulls at you. And yet I see your efforts and celebrate your successes as you choose My ways over the ways of the world. Even in your weakness, your desire is for Me and My Word. This pleases Me so!
I am patient and long-suffering, beloved. Like a potter with clay, I know well what it takes to mold you and bring out the beauty I see within you. I am not afraid or ashamed of the process you must go through. Therefore, neither should you be.
My covenant of grace is ever extended to you. Therefore, receive it. Receive all that I have for you, for you are forgiven and I have commanded the blessing over your life. Choose to believe the words I speak over you and trust that I tell you no lie. Hold tightly to the vision I have imparted to you of who you are becoming in Me. Keep it in mind and let it be your mirror. Keep your heart open, for I will always reflect back to you the beauty I see in you.
Isaiah 54:9-10 (NLT) “Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you. For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

The card is based on the “Sweet Aroma” Dyed4you Art piece, and it reads, “Your countenance, thoughts, words, spirit, and energy shift the atmosphere wherever you go, so be intentional in how you wield that ability. Choose to permeate the space around you with that which is life-giving and good: exude love, gratitude, and life. Make the conscious choice to shift the atmosphere for good everywhere you go.”

Beloved, remember that you are a child of the Light, and darkness is powerless against the light. Darkness cannot say to light, “I refuse to go” or “I insist that I dim your blaze” because light trumps darkness. It’s not a fight for light to overtake darkness, but rather light expands simply because of the nature of what light is: light.
So remember your identity as a child of the day – a child of light. Walk in the fullness of that power unafraid knowing that you are equipped simply by the nature of who you are and how you are made. So be light, beloved. Be light.
Matthew 5:14 (NLT) You are the light of the world–like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.

1 Thessalonians 5:5 (VOICE) For you are all children of light. You are sons and daughters of the day. We are not created of night, nor are we owned by darkness.
Beloved, I AM the light and I live within you. Where there is light, no darkness can remain. Nor can light disguise itself as darkness, nor should it want to. So shine brightly, beloved. Be an emissary of light – vibrant and alive – and unafraid of changing the landscape around you.
There is nothing to fear from light. As you walk in truth, you know it only brings life. So even when things brought to light feel ugly or broken, simply know that the light has not caused it to be that way, but rather the light has refused to allow it to remain hidden.
For like lancing a wound, sometimes that which is wrong must be completely exposed to begin to bring it to rights. So embrace the truth and the light that brings it. Be not afraid of human reactions, but rather know I AM pleased as you walk as a reflection of Me.
Another Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “Testifying Without a Word.”
1 John 2:4 (VOICE) If someone claims, “I am in an intimate relationship with Him,” but this big talker doesn’t live out His commands, then this individual is a liar and a stranger to the truth.
A man who is unfaithful to his marriage vows, yet holds himself up as a paragon of a husband is a liar and a hypocrite. Be mindful then, beloved, not to do the same. In humility, read and study My word, walk it out, and let the light of My love reflect from your face (just as Moses’ did when he spent time with Me). You need not declare your relationship with Me to the world, for My touch on you – the glow of my presence – will be apparent without you saying a word.
The light of your countenance will testify. The strength of your love will testify. The beauty of your compassion will testify. And the depth of your mercy will testify. All of these, a reflection of Me, My touch on your life. No words needed. The strength of your actions – your very life – testify of Me and Who I AM to you.
A Word called “You are Light” from Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings is connected to this.
Beloved, you are a luminary. I made you to be My light in the earth, a vessel arrayed in all My glory. Just as I set the stars in the sky to shine as guiding lights to the earth, so I have called you.
As you stand bathed in My glory, whom shall you fear, beloved? The darkness has no power, for I have equipped you to expel it. Even now, the roar of My authority is awakening within you. Resist the urge to fear this new level of anointing or how walking in it will transform your life. Yes, to arise as My luminary means that others will look to you. This weight of My glory and My call on your life can seem daunting. Yet I raise you up to be an influence for good. I set this portion of My Kingdom upon your shoulders that others may look to you and see Me reflected in every aspect of your life.
Remember that the weight of the entire world does not rest upon your shoulders. I do not call you to be the source of the Light—for I Am the true Source—I call you simply to reflect Me. Therefore, arise and shine boldly, beloved. Let My radiance break through your inner man. Stand up and step forward as a bold representative of My Kingdom, a vessel of My love made manifest.
Genesis 1:14-15 (AMPC) And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be signs and tokens [of God’s provident care], and [to mark] seasons, days, and years, And let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light upon the earth. And it was so.
Isaiah 60:1-3 (VOICE) Arise, shine, for your light has broken through! The Eternal One’s brilliance has dawned upon you. See truly; look carefully—darkness blankets the earth; people all over are cloaked in darkness. But God will rise and shine on you; the Eternal’s bright glory will shine on you, a light for all to see. Nations north and south, peoples east and west, will be drawn to your light, will find purpose and direction by your light. In the radiance of your rising, you will enlighten the leaders of nations.
Father, may we be as intentional to cultivate our inner beauty as we are our outer beauty. May we take time in Your presence in quiet reflection that we might be a person of peace. May we receive Your love and also love ourselves deeply that we might have love to pour out to others in abundance. And may we allow the joy, love, and peace of our countenance to shine clearly through so we might be a blessing to the world at large.
