Peaceable Kingdom reminds us of the promised peace and tranquillity of His Kingdom. This is how it was meant to be – like a glimpse of the Garden of Eden, and our role in bringing His Kingdom to earth now.

  • Isaiah 11:6 (NLT) In that day the wolf and the lamb will live together; the leopard will lie down with the baby goat. The calf and the yearling will be safe with the lion, and a little child will lead them all.

A Meditation of the Word called “The Two Faces of Victory” from Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings is connected to this.

I’ve always been intrigued by the two animals that symbolize our mighty Savior—the lion and the lamb. As far as Messianic references go, these two animals seem like they couldn’t be more different from one another. One is the fierce king of the jungle, while the other is the docile and innocent vessel of atonement. While the lion and the lamb may seem very different, I believe they perfectly represent the two faces of victory in the Kingdom of Heaven—the two faces of our Messiah. Christ is both suffering servant and conquering king.

Like the Jews of the first century, modern believers look with hope for the Son of David, the one who will set up a godly kingdom which will fill the whole earth. Many of us groan within to see the kingdom of darkness fully expelled by our mighty Warrior King. If His ancestor King David foreshadowed Christ’s second coming, what power can withstand Him when the God of the Universe backs Him?

And yet, as the Lamb, as the sacrifice for our atonement, in many ways Christ has already demonstrated great might. He walked the earth in gentleness and humility. He was a vessel of compassion, healing the sick, raising the dead, and sharing the sweet news of the Kingdom with all who would hear. And most of all, He defeated death forever with one great act of love and self-sacrifice.

In the Kingdom of Heaven, complete victory can look mighty and peaceful all at once. In Scripture, there were times when God called His people to arise in courage and war for the sake of His Kingdom. He would clothe His warriors with physical might through His Spirit. Yet I believe He still calls His people to arise in courage and go to war—yet now with our most powerful weapons in the Spirit that we can often overlook. The kingdom of darkness is no match for traits such as humility, gentleness, selflessness, and love. The weapons of the Spirit may reflect the face of the Lamb, but they most certainly overcome the darkness with the roar of the Lion.

Revelation 5:5-6 (TPT) Then one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping. Look! The mighty Lion of Judah’s tribe, the root of David—he has conquered! He is the worthy one who can open the scroll and its seven seals.” Then I saw a young Lamb standing in the middle of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders. He appeared to have been slaughtered but was now alive! He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out to the ends of the earth.

A Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “Keep Me in Your Midst.

Matthew 18:20 (VOICE) For when two or three gather together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.

Beloved, be intentional to keep Me in your midst. For unity and harmony come much more smoothly when everyone is seeking to align with Me rather than their personal agendas. In the end, My Kingdom reigns eternal. That is where your attentions and efforts are best spent.

So choose to focus on Me. For though I move in power, I also move in humility. Power is not an arrogant assertion of one’s rights, but rather an inherent strength that simply is. In the same way true leaders draw followers to themselves whether they’re trying to or not, when you operate in true power, its manifestation will always make itself visible.

So choose to align with Me. Submit yourself in love and humility. Be a vessel of unity – intentionally cultivate harmony. Keep Me in your midst. Then watch as the fruit comes forth and you see My Kingdom increasingly manifesting on earth.

Another Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “Walk Uprightly.

Ephesians 6:14 (AMP) So stand firm and hold your ground…having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart),

Beloved, it matters not if everyone around you compromises their integrity, you know the level to which you are called. Walk in it. Without apology or hesitation. Not because you know I AM with you and see your actions, but because you refuse to lower yourself or compromise your integrity.

Walk in uprightness. Setting the example for those around you. You won’t need to say a word, rather lead by example. Show them that walking with Me makes you different, not in a self-righteous way, but rather one of quiet humility, compassion, and righteousness.

For I AM strengthening you. What you’re called to is not impossible. And in the moments it is difficult, know that it is growing the fruit of the Spirit within you. You can do it. I AM with you and I strengthen you. Do not give the enemy a toehold. But in the moments you fall short, quickly repent and right yourself. Uprightness protects your heart, beloved, and your heart is most precious to Me. Guard it well.

A Gemstone Reflection by Naudia Willbroad entitled “Kingdom Child” is connected to this.

Mark 10:14-15 (AMP) But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and He said to them, “Allow the children to come to Me; do not forbid them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever does not receive and welcome the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.”

God loves those who are childlike, full of faith and trust and filled with the light of His love and life. They don’t allow the lies of the enemy to shut them down. They turn their gaze on their Abba Daddy, King of the Universe, and their Shepherd, knowing He guards and protects them, and they move forward into all God has. These Kingdom children know that God delights in their exuberance and passion and play. They know He leads them and protects them, guarding their path and enabling their joyful, playful light of life to come forth and shine – making way for those who have been crushed in spirit to return to Abba Daddy and be restored into their joy-filled, passionate purpose once again.

God wants you to release your preconceived ideas on what it takes to be a child of His Kingdom. He wants you to release the weight of expectations that have been sitting on your shoulders. Those expectations of responsibility of representing Him in a certain way. He wants you to come and roll down a grassy green hill with Him. Come pick dandelions, and dare to go exploring in the creek bed finding fish and frogs and crawdads. Get dirty, splash and be exuberant in your delight. Refuse to tamp down your enthusiasm and wonder when others think you are being foolish and, dare I say, childlike. God delights in the child-likeness of His children because His love can pour through them with wonder and abandon.

Trust that He will protect you and guard your heart when others don’t understand and want you to fall back under rules and regulations. He will roar over you and declare His truth through you and you will bring back those who have been crushed in spirit and restore them to their rightful inheritance as a child of the King. Come and be a child again. Come and allow Abba Daddy, Your Shepherd and Protector, to show you what being a Kingdom child truly is and bask in His glow and acceptance as you move into who you were truly made to be.

Luke 18:15-17 (AMP) Now they were also bringing their babies to Him, so that He would touch and bless them, and when the disciples noticed it, they began reprimanding them. But Jesus called them to Himself, saying [to the apostles], “Allow the children to come to Me, and do not forbid them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God [with faith and humility] like a child will not enter it at all.”

Another Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “Seek Peace and Harmony.”

1 Corinthians 1:10 (TLB) But, dear brothers, I beg you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to stop arguing among yourselves. Let there be real harmony so that there won’t be splits in the church. I plead with you to be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

Beloved, seek peace and harmony among the brethren. As you consider others above yourself and extend grace and mercy – seeking to understand, assuming positive intent, and covering your brothers and sisters in Christ in prayer – you will find it easy to operate with My heart and in My love. Pray first, speak second – if at all. Trust My Holy Spirit to do the work in each other’s hearts. Each of you is responsible for your own personal growth and My Holy Spirit will show you what areas to work on next – just as you trust Me to do that in you, trust that I will do the same in others.

Resist the urge to be prideful if I’ve already addressed and area with you and you’re walking in victory in it, but your brother is not. Extend the grace you wanted to receive, use your strengths to cover one another’s weaknesses. Truly function as a body. Walking in love and tenderly caring for each other, compensating when one area is weakened or hurt, allowing time for strength and maturity to be built. Love one another and bear with one another in love.

Lead by example. Even if others walk in pride and point out your weaknesses – exploiting rather than covering – do not respond in kind, but rather walk in humility as My Son did – simply being Who I created Him to be and acting in a way that was pleasing to Me rather than retaliating or defending Himself. Trust Me to cover you when your brethren let you down, but don’t stop walking in the manner I have called you to because even if no one else sees it, I do.

A prophetic download from Annette Fleenor is connected to this. It’s called “Our Lion Shepherd.”

Our Lion Shepherd looks after the sheep – the Father takes care of each one. He is gentle with us, but in an instant our fierce Lion Shepherd can come out and roar over any who threaten His sheep. He is protective of His flock with His eyes ever watchful. He guides us along the path of life and as the path gets hard, He never leaves us. He gives true rest by the refreshing of His stream, nourishing our parched areas. He gives out daily blessings, may we always be thankful for His grace and kindness. The true Shepherd tending His sheep.

Psalm 23:1-2, 4-6 (TLB) Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need! He lets me rest in the meadow grass and leads me beside the quiet streams. He gives me new strength. He helps me do what honors him the most. Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way. You provide delicious food for me in the presence of my enemies. You have welcomed me as your guest; blessings overflow! Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all of my life, and afterwards I will live with you forever in your home.

This piece includes a portion of our Dyed4you Art piece called “Come to the River,” which is connected to this. A portion of the word, which is a “Gemstone Reflection” by Naudia Willbroad called “Come Sit with Me,” reads:

Come sit with Me My child. Restore yourself in Me. I will replenish you. I will give you new vision. I will restore your heart for those in need. Come sit at My feet and hear My heart. Hear how it cries out for the wounded and broken. Hear how it cries out for you: to restore you, replenish you, feed you, give you water for your dry and thirsty land.

You are precious to Me. I do not want you spent. I do not want you empty. Be refilled and renewed in Me. Be made whole. Be restored. Then your vision will become clear. Then you can see what I am doing and join Me.

Come My beloved, sit at My feet and learn from Me. Be filled with Me. Then you may go and pour yourself out.

Return to Me continually for I am your source. I will never run dry. My beloved I am so proud of what you do but what I desire is for you to be with Me. Come see what I am doing. Come be with Me. Walk with Me. Sit with Me. Learn from Me. Then you will have My heart. My heart beats for all My children. So many have gone astray. Bring them back to My fold. Restore them to Me. My heart is for them. My heart aches for them. I am a jealous God.

Beloved be restored in Me and I will make you fishers of men. You care for My sheep. You feed My sheep. Now I am calling you to step out and find My lost sheep. You are the shepherd I have called. Renew yourself in Me. Beloved, come and be with Me and all this will come to pass.  Love forever, Abba Papa

{praying}

Father, thank You for being gentle, but also being strong. Thank You for using Your might to protect Your children. Thank You for being mindful of every concern we have, and thank You for seeing to all of them. You reign in power and humility. We yield to You. We honor You as King. We desire to be vessels to bring Your peaceable Kingdom to earth. You are good, and we give glory to You.
