Reflections of Grandeur depicts the glory of His creation, all declaring that He is.
“They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” Romans 1:19-20 NLT
The silk in this image is called Ablaze with Glory. The colors in it are gold representing mercy, golden brown representing beauty for ashes, harvest brown representing sowing and reaping, mahogany brown representing unity, and fire red representing flaming throne of God.
As we take time to step into His creation, we can’t help but see reflections of His very nature all around us – both in the grand majesty and in the tiny details – His glory surrounds us reminding us that He IS God. As we take in His creation and the vastness of it we remember we are but a vapor, and yet He is mindful of us and loves us. May our hearts incline to Him and give Him the honor and glory He is due.
Father, thank You for Your ever present reminder that You exist – Your creation. May our hearts stay in a place where we remember who You are (God – YHVH Bore, Yahweh Creator) and who we are (not god, but an integral part of Your creation). May our lives and actions be to honor and glorify You. May we remember we are without excuse.
Thank you for this beautiful reminder. Breathtakingly Beautiful!

I was just talking about this very thing with a friend this weekend! How truly awesome it is that creation proclaims God’s glory! We really are without excuse! Your artwork captures this in a stunning way!
