A while back, I “accidentally” ordered the wrong size printcards of a couple of Dyed4you Art pieces (one of which was Anointed for War: Rallied Warriors). After getting over being frustrated at my mistake and annoyed at having “wasted the money” getting them, God told me He had a purpose for them and to give them away as He directed. So when prompted, I include one when I ship an order. We got to hear about someone else who was blessed by the Anointed for War: Rallied Warriors mini printcard (Beautiful Tallit and Confirming Art), and here is someone else who was blessed by hers. I love how God works in our “mistakes!”
This recipient got her mini printcard along with a gift from her sister (who happens to be part of our Dyed4you Team). It was a beautiful confirmation to some art she had created decades ago. 🙂
My sister…gave me a prayer scarf recently, but what really struck me (and still does) is the artwork on the 3×5 card. It’s two horses rearing with a transparent sword in the background. It shocked me, because it looked so much like a series I did in high school almost 20 years ago. I did a 3 part series for an art class that had a sword in the middle on each, with a different position for the horse(s) on each one. Even the design of the sword is very similar to what I did. I still have the artwork in my storage somewhere :P. I just thought I would share this with you since it was an amazing thing to me. Most of my art over the years has always revolved around thoughts of the Lord including that series. I wish I had easy access to it, to share more details, but I’m in BC, Canada right now and it’s in Oregon!I hope you are well and know that I appreciate the ministry you have in all aspects. I’ve enjoy seeing [my sister] become more involved and reinvest in that part of her gifting in both prayer and worship dance with the flags.
It’s always a cool thing when God takes what we consider a mistake and turns it into something for His Kingdom work!I’m moving right now so the picture is sitting in a side table drawer which is serving as a make shift desk. So when I open the drawer every day I see it. Once I have a permanent place I hope to put it somewhere more visible.
