Igniting Hearts depicts one of My zealous ones ablaze for Me. As they blaze forth igniting those around them – taking the nations.

  • Romans 12:11 (VOICE) Do not slack in your faithfulness and hard work. Let your spirit be on fire, bubbling up and boiling over, as you serve the Lord.
  • Matthew 5:16 (VOICE) You are like that illuminating light. Let your light shine everywhere you go, that you may illumine creation, so men and women everywhere may see your good actions, may see creation at its fullest, may see your devotion to Me , and may turn and praise your Father in heaven because of it .
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:19 (TPT) Never restrain or put out the fire of the Holy Spirit.
  • Joshua 1:5-6 (NKJV) No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
  • 1 Samuel 30:18-19 (NKJV) So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.

While mediating on this piece, a vision of a great warrior of God was seen. Among this warrior’s weapons was a spear with a flag attached to it—a symbol of patriotism to the Jerusalem Above, the city of the Great King, and home to the saints who are registered in heaven. This warrior is one who leads the charge and campaigns with zeal on behalf of God, on behalf of His Kingdom, and on behalf of its citizens. Heavenly and earthly forces align behind this zealous one who is unrelenting and unwilling to backdown from the task the Great King has given. The armies march and campaign in unison, and they take territory “God of This City” as though it were the anthem of Jerusalem Above.

Whether staking a claim over a territory of a nation, a home, or a heart, a zealous campaigner in the Kingdom knows that their mission is to bring heaven to earth. Let nothing deter you. Let no mountain intimidate you. Battle like Joshua whom no man could stand against all the days of his life. Battle like Gideon whose greatest advantage was not in the numbers of soldiers who fought with him. Battle like David who, as Pastor Bill Johnson says, ruled with the heart of a servant, and served with the heart of a king. Hold nothing back for the God of Angel Armies stands behind you always.

A Prophetic Nugget from our Dyed4you Ministries blog is connected to this. It is called “Blaze Forth.”

Matthew 5:14-15 (VOICE) And you, beloved, are the light of the world. A city built on a hilltop cannot be hidden. Similarly it would be silly to light a lamp and then hide it under a bowl. When someone lights a lamp, she puts it on a table or a desk or a chair, and the light illumines the entire house.

Beloved, let your fervor and your zeal pour forth like a rising flood. Refining, bringing life, bringing refreshing, bringing healing. Resist the temptation to diminish who you are to make others more comfortable. For I have created you perfectly, exactly how I have intended you to be, and it is good. Blaze forth! Shining in all your glory. Reflecting Me. Let your passion fire ignite those around you. Spark them into roaring flames.

Your light overtakes the darkness, not the reverse. The darkness cannot overtake you for the radiance of My glory shines forth and nothing can make it dim. So burn brightly and in doing so give others permission to do the same.

A post from Breanna (IWU2012Breanna blog) called “We are His burning ones” is connected to this.

Set ablaze with the flame of the spirit of God, we are the burning ones, shining His light for all to see. “Do not put out the Spirit’s fire. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:19, Matthew 5:16

“Burn, and let the whole world see! You were made to burn.

I see an old breed of prophet arising, speaking as voices from another age; set ablaze with the flame of the Spirit of God, and sent from before the throne. We are sent from before the throne to stand up and speak out, and let hell tremble when they hear us say, “We are the burning ones, and we will not be contained! We are the burning ones, and we will not be contained!”

Burning ones, arise! Come forth! Take your flame, ignite the world. We are the only hope for a hopeless world to see the face of the living God. Take your flame, ignite the world. Under the name above all names, we declare that the glorious One lives. Take your flame, ignite the world. Take your flame, ignite the world! Come to the throne! Come to the throne. You were made to burn, and let the whole world see. Burn, and let the whole world see. Burn, and let the whole world see. Oh take your flame, ignite the world. Take your flame, ignite the world.” (Seraphim by For Today)

This song is not talking about literal fire, but rather the flame of God upon His sons and daughters. Fire is symbolic of anointing, being holy, set-apart, pure. We burn with the flame of God because it is evidence of His presence in us. Our God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29). John the Baptist prophesied about Christ when he said, “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire” (Matthew 3:11). And this is what happened when the disciples received the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Acts 2:3-4).

This song is called “Seraphim”, which translates in Hebrew to literally, “burning ones”. In Isaiah 6:1-8, Seraphim is the word Isaiah used to describe fiery beings that fly around God’s throne singing “holy, holy, holy”. Read this passage:

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another:

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory.”

At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.

“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

What a sight it would be to see that. This is one of my favorite passages because it is so powerful, and when I think of all this, to me the entire concept here of being a burning one is to be ignited with the flame of consuming fire, baptized by His Holy Spirit, and declaring in worship as we fix ourselves on God, seated on His throne, high and exalted, calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the earth is full of His glory.”

That is what we are burning for.

The old breed of prophet” in the song is referring to Isaiah, that we are lit like he was with the flame of God; He has touched our lips with the coal, He has taken away our guilt and our sins are atoned for so we may declare His praise and be sent out to the world. “We are sent from before the throne to stand up and speak out.” We are His burning ones, and we will not be contained!

A Mustard Seed called “Zealous Pursuit” from our Dyed4you blog is connected to this.

Proverbs 23:17 (TPT) Don’t allow the actions of evil men to cause you to burn with anger. Instead, burn with unrelenting passion as you worship God in holy awe.

Proverbs 21:23 (NKJV) Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles.

Be zealous for the Lord at every waking moment. He is the reason you have air in your lungs! He is the reason we have yet another day as a gift to bless His Holy name. That’s our purpose, to bring Glory to His name and have His light shine through us.

But be careful… Don’t let your burning passion and zeal for Him quicken your tongue. Always seek His wisdom and humble yourself first before taking a step in so called “righteous anger”. Regardless of what you witness and know, the Lord is aching over His lost children, be what Jesus called us to be… LOVE! Love conquers all! All you have to do is plant a seed.

A Prophetic Nugget from our Dyed4you Ministries blog is connected to this. It is called “Ignite the World.”

Romans 12:11 (VOICE) Do not slack in your faithfulness and hard work. Let your spirit be on fire, bubbling up and boiling over, as you serve the Lord.

Beloved, ignite the world with your zealous love of Me. May your passion burn so brightly those surrounding you cannot help but catch flame. When your personal walk with Me is genuine, sincere, steadfast, and intimate; when by observation others can clearly see your love, honor, obedience, and integrity; you will win lives without a word.

Focus on your own walk with Me and the integrity of your own actions. Be intentional to obey My voice both in My word and Spirit-breathed. Refuse to be caught up in judgment and telling others how they should live. Lead by example and love without restraint. In doing so, you cannot help but ignite the world.

A portion of a Dyed4you silk letter “Stand in Authority” is connected to this.

Stand in the authority I have given you. Be obedient and take back which is mine. Beloved, restore that which has been broken. Reclaim that which has been taken. I have given you authority to do my will. I’ve given you authority to bring heaven to earth. I have given you authority to walk out the dreams I have given you and see them fulfilled. Reap which I have sown. Take back which is mine, my children – my lost ones – my broken ones. Bring them back to the fold. Take my love to them beloved. Restore a relationship. Restore life. Repair the broken spirits with my arms of love. Be my hands and feet. Be my hands and feet beloved. Reclaim that which was stolen, that which was taken. Do onto others as you would have them do unto you. Beloved rejoice! Beloved rejoice!

A portion from Roberts Liardon’s “God’s Generals” is connected to this.

Maria [Woodworth-Etter] first launched her ministry into her own community. She had no idea of what she would say, but God told her to go and that He would put words in her mouth. And God fulfilled His Word. As Maria stood before her first crowd, most of them relatives, she opened her mouth, and the crowd began to weep and fall to the floor. Some got up and ran out in tears. After this Maria was highly sought throughout her community. Several churches asked her to come and revive their congregations. Soon she expanded her ministry westward and had held nine revivals, preached two hundred sermons, and started two churches with Sunday school memberships of over a hundred people. God honored Maria and made up for her lost years in a short amount of time.

One particular meeting was held in a town called Devils Den. No minister had ever been successful there, and people came to mock her. They were looking to see the female evangelist who would soon run out of town shattered and defeated. But they received the surprise of their lives! Sister Etter might have been a woman, but she was not one to be taken lightly. She knew the key to spiritual warfare and the fervency of prayer that unlocked heaven.

For three days Maria preached and sang. No one moved. Finally, on the fourth day, she exercised her spiritual authority through intercession and tore down the demonic principality that ruled over Devils Den. She prayed that God would show a great display of His power to break the people’s stiff formality. That night, people throughout the meeting cried and repented to God. It was the greatest manifestation of the presence of God the town had ever witnessed.

We are not called to give up. We are called to obey God at whatever cost and to let success answer our critics….

A “whisper” called “I will bring you out of trouble and give you TRIUMPH” from the Passion Translation team’s “I Hear His Whisper” is connected to this.

All that now discourages you will be lifted from you and My power will be shown on your behalf. Fix your eyes on the triumph of the cross and your heart will soar again. Be filled with My living Word. Believe all that I have said to you and rest in My promise. Come into agreement with Me and you will see great deliverance!

I am about to flow through your life in great power. The age of miracles and displays of power will be seen in your land. Even now My winds are blowing to topple the structures and teachings of men that hinder My people from trusting in My power. Gale force winds will blow. The more confidence you place in the structures of men the more disappointment will come when I blow them down. The awakening winds are coming to blow upon your heart and awaken you to My power. So arise from your days of doubting and enter in to a new day of promises-fulfilled, the days of heaven on earth!

Your Bridegroom is coming, He is in the land to lift you up and lead you out. Trim your lamps, buy oil of My Spirit, fill your heart with expectancy and go out to meet Him. The day of His gladness is here, the day of His wedding is near, arise and go out of all that is familiar and meet Him in His glory. Just as He walks in mighty power over all His foes, so will His bride walk in the ways of glorious power. Nothing will hinder Him as He appears for His bride.

I will speak My words through you, I will release My power through you. For the Lamb’s wife is making herself ready and her garments of splendor are becoming clean and spotless. Even as I used My displays of miracle power to gather the masses and bring them in to taste of My glory, I will do it again in your day. You have asked Me to come and rend the heavens. I am coming as you first rend your hearts and open more deeply to Me. I will draw untold millions to Myself in these days of power. So come, be clothed with faith and confidence in Me. Leave all that hinders you behind. Do not look back or try to take the old with you into the new. For the way is straight and the door is narrow. Come with faith alone and you will see the unveiling of My power. There is no limit to what I will do through you as you come with Me!

Song of Songs 3:10-11 (TPT) Pillars of smoke, like silver mist— a canopy of golden glory dwells above it. The place where they sit together is sprinkled with crimson. Love and mercy cover this carriage, blanketing his tabernacle throne. The king himself has made it for those who will become his bride. Rise up, Zion maidens, brides-to-be! Come and feast your eyes on this king as he passes in procession on his way to his wedding. This is the day filled with overwhelming joy— the day of his great gladness.

A portion of a teaching from Robert Henderson of Robert Henderson Ministries called “Operating in the Courts of Heaven – Executing the Finished Work” is connected to this.

I do believe that when Jesus died on the cross, legally he put into place everything that is necessary for all of our sins to be dealt with past, present, and future. But this is the way I answer that. When a judge sits on a throne and he renders a verdict, he renders a verdict into place against something or for something. When he does that, if there is no officer of the court to take that verdict and execute it into place then it has no power. It’s just as if the verdict was not rendered. Even though the verdict is legal and is in place, if no one executes it into place and enforces it, then what happens is it is as if the verdict has not been rendered.

You see in Psalms 149, the scripture says that the saints have an honor of executing into place the written judgments. In other words, we have to take the legalities of the cross and execute or enforce them into place or they have no power….

When Jesus died on the cross it was the greatest legal transaction of history. Everything that is necessary, everything that we needed for life and godliness, everything to bring a full manifestation of the Kingdom to earth was accomplished and done. The problem is there has been no agency to take what was done on the cross and the verdict that was rendered and execute it into place. That agency is you and I on a personal level. But it is also the ekklesia of God, that Jesus said He would build, that is recognized in heaven, that has the right to take the verdict from heaven and execute it into place until everything is moved out of the way that is resisting a full manifestation of the Kingdom of God.

The lyrics from Chris Tomlin’s song “God of This City” are connected to this, almost like an anthem.

You’re the God of this city | You’re the King of these people | You’re the Lord of this nation | You are

You’re the Light in this darkness | You’re the Hope to the hopeless | You’re the Peace to the restless | You are

There is no one like our God | There is no one like our God

For greater things have yet to come | And greater things are still to be done in this city | Greater thing have yet to come | And greater things are still to be done in this city

For greater things have yet to come | And greater things are still to be done in this city | Greater things have yet to come | And greater things are still to be done here

There is no one like our God | There is no one like our God

For greater things have yet to come | And greater things are still to be done in this city | Greater thing have yet to come | And greater things are still to be done in this city

Greater things have yet to come| And greater things are still to be done in this city| Greater things have yet to come | And greater things are still to be done here
