Surrendered Heart reminds us to yield at the feet of God, to resist the urge to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders but instead to lay it at His feet, and to give Him the honor and glory of which He is so worthy.

  • Psalm 95:6-7 (VOICE) Come, let us worship Him. Everyone bow down; kneel before the Eternal who made us. For He is our God and we are His people, the flock of His pasture, His sheep protected and nurtured by His hand. Today, if He speaks, hear His voice.
  • 2 Chronicles 7:3 (AMP) When all the people of Israel saw how the fire came down and saw the glory and brilliance of the Lord upon the house, they bowed down on the stone pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and praised the Lord, saying , “For He is good, for His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever.”
  • Psalm 91:1-2, 4 (TPT) When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the Stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence… His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm.
  • Psalm 34:15 (VOICE) For the Eternal watches over the righteous, and His ears are attuned to their prayers. He is always listening.

Psalm 63:8 (TPT) With passion I pursue and cling to you. Because I feel your grip on my life, I keep my soul close to your heart.

Beloved, pursue Me as I pursue you – fervently and with your whole heart. Just as your lungs cry out for air when deprived of it, so your soul cries out for Me. So breath Me in deeply, beloved. I AM here and I AM rich with love for you – ready to saturate your senses and overwhelm you in the sweetest of ways.

Remember, beloved, that your choices and actions clearly indicate your focus. Choose wisely and with intention. Make Me your holy obsession. I AM worthy of your all, and I lavish My love upon those who choose Me.

2 Chronicles 7:3 (TLB) All the people had been watching, and now they fell flat on the pavement and worshiped and thanked the Lord. “How good he is!” they exclaimed. “He is always so loving and kind.”

Beloved, I wrap you in My lovingkindness. I embrace you in My love. Lean into Me and rest in Me, I AM your rock and shelter, your safe place in the storm. Give thanks for I AM good.

Don’t be like a thoughtless child – feeling entitled and therefore never grateful and always asking for more. Instead in humility and with gratitude lift your holy hands in praise, and know I AM good.

Matthew 22:14 (NKJV) For many are called, but few are chosen.

Choose HIM as HE has chosen you! The calling and anointing on your life is greater than you can see at the moment. Trust HIM to lead you through this journey regardless of how many times you may fall, HIS hand is right there outstretched for you to grab and pull yourself back up!

Worldly temptations won’t ever go away, so don’t get discouraged if all doesn’t go according to your plan because it is about HIS plan for you! HE already knew all you would be facing and still HE trusts you with HIS calling on you because your heart is pure and sincere towards HIM!

Matthew 22:14 (TPT) For everyone is invited to enter in, but few respond in excellence.

A Meditation of the Word called “Eye of the Lord” from Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings is connected to this.

Psalm 17:8 (VOICE) Keep close watch over me as the apple of Your eye; shelter me in the shadow of Your wings.

At some point in my childhood, I was seriously convinced that the moon was the eye of God. Before I would go to bed, I would sit by the window and stare at that bright light in the darkness sure that the One who loved me was staring back. At this time, I didn’t know about the Scripture that says the eyes of the Lord are always upon the righteous (Psalm 34:15) or how we are the apple of His eye (Psalm 17:8). Yet somehow, I instinctively knew this truth.

This bright, unblinking eye in the sky didn’t scare me though. In fact, I was sure that even though I was going to sleep, my Big Daddy above didn’t sleep; He would be keeping His eye on me and I would be safe. God was so big and yet so close to me all at once! He was completely involved in my life and certainly not too busy running the universe to watch me while I slept. I would wrap myself in that truth and fall into a deep rest.

Although I’m an adult and now know what the moon really is, I have to admit that that pure, childlike truth about my Heavenly Father remains a powerful part of my life. Sonship is a beautiful and ever-unraveling revelation. Our Father is infinite, a sovereign over all created things. Yet sometimes we can feel lost in the midst of this creation and the chaos that sin brings. And when we feel lost, we lose sight of who we are and Whose we are. But when the eyes of our heart can manage to refocus on the truth—that we are much-loved children of the King of the Universe and God of Angel Armies—then it gets pretty hard for the troubles of life overwhelm us. We may be adults in the earthly realm, but from the heavenly perspective, we never ever leave the watchful and loving care of our Heavenly Father. His thoughts towards us our vast and His care over us never changes. His love and favor are truly the only security blanket we need to find rest in this world.

Majestic. The art depicts worshiping His Majesty, the Greatness of God.  A time where He initiated contact,  a soft gentle whisper, and you responded. Your response brought His Presence, a time where your spirit, soul, and body are all touched and enlivened by His Majesty.  A place of awe, honor, overwhelming Presence as He surrounds and embraces you.

A forever heart treasure.  A moment in time forever emblazoned on your heart and mind; one you can revisit over and over, forever fresh and alive.  A moment, when later shared with others, that brings change and life to them. This well spring of life that is yours forever.

A portion of a prophetic narrative by Naudia Willbroad is connected to this.

A day of deep sorrow. A day of troubles that linger as dusk settles. A day of many moments that nag and prick at my self confidence and identity. A day wanting to be forgotten as I weep and drag myself to my bed. An intense desire for comfort overwhelms me. A desire that my favorite food, my favorite book or show, not even my favorite person can provide.

“God,” I weep, “I need rest. I need comfort from the tragedies, the doubts, the fears and anxieties. I need you to wrap yourself around me.”

As I curl up on the bed I reach for my blanket. This blanket has seen sorrow and it has seen joy. It has been packed and unpacked. It has the stains of late night tears and binges on favorite foods. It has brought comfort to friends who needed a shoulder to cry on. It has shown love to those who needed to  belong. It has heard a thousand prayers of thanksgiving and supplication. Now I needed that comfort once again.

As I lay wrapped in the warmth of this worn well loved blanket I feel a stillness in the air. A presence of peace hovers and a hand reaches and touches my head.

“Daughter,” I hear whispered in the darkened room. “My beloved daughter. You have done well. You have weathered the storm. You have sought me and I am here. I give you strength Beloved. I give you joy. You are wrapped in my tender arms and I bring you peace. I whisper over you my tender words of love, of satisfaction and pride in you. I rejoice over you with singing. I rock you in my arms and desire to never let you go. Yet, like a toddler, you wriggle and wiggle to get down. You desire to run and explore. You want to be free.

You are free in Me and I laugh at your play and I cheer you on in your attempts to learn and grow and become stronger. And at the end of the day I am here to wrap you in my blanket of peace, to soothe you with my quiet whispers and surround you in my loving embrace as you tell me all about your day. The highs of new accomplishments. The devastation of loss or rejection. The turmoil of decisions. The stress of every day life and moments of regrets.

I remind you of the good you accomplished, of the moments of joy you experienced and encourage you to keep inviting Me into every moment of every day that you may always have My reassurance, peace, comfort and knowledge of My love for you.

I love you Beloved. You are Mine and I cradle you with the utmost compassion and care. Love your Abba Papa.”

I continue to lay in the dark, tears rolling down my cheeks yet a smile starts to form deep within as I feel the warmth of my Father’s embrace. “Thank you Abba.” I whisper into the dark. “See you in the morning.”

Another Prophetic Nugget from Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Ministries is connected to this. It’s called “I Surround You With My Favor.”

Psalm 5:12 (AMP) For You, O Lord, bless the righteous man [the one who is in right standing with You]; You surround him with favor as with a shield.

Beloved, you never need to work to earn My favor – you already have it, you are clothed in it. You can focus on walking uprightly and cultivating relationship with Me because My favor isn’t anything you need to work for, it is given freely and surrounds you like a shield. I insulate and protect you because you are My beloved one in whom I AM well pleased.

Rest in that favor, knowing it is there for you – covering you – simply because you are Mine. Walk in the confidence that comes from knowing you are loved, cherished, and appreciated – for you are! I delight in you. You are the apple of My eye, My heart’s desire – the center of My world. Hear the love songs I sing over you and the sweet words of life and affection that I whisper in your ear. I AM with you always. I will never leave your side. You are priceless to Me. Rest in the safety of that understanding.

A final Prophetic Nugget from Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Ministries is connected to this. It’s called “Yield Yourself to Me.”

Psalm 95:6 (TPT) Come and kneel before this Creator-God; come and bow before the mighty God, our majestic maker!

Beloved, joyously take your place at My feet. To humble oneself is not to be humiliated, it is simply a point of surrender. It is you laying down your burdens and allowing Me to pick them up.

Find your rest, beloved, at My feet. Feel My touch upon your head as I cover you with My love. Like a precious ointment upon My feet, so you pour your heart out before Me. The sweet aroma of your offering is incredibly pleasing to Me.

You honor Me as you choose to yield. You magnify Me in your heart and on the earth – giving Me the honor due My name. Blessed are you as you yield yourself to Me.
