Time to Soar reminds us that God watches over us, and He urges us on as we pursue Him and take flight. He reminds us He is always right there with – covering us. And we can rest in the knowledge He has prepared us, and He cheers us on.

Isaiah 40:31 (AMP) But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him]…

Beloved, wait on Me. No time is wasted when it is spent in My presence. So “waste” your life on Me. Yield your heart, your thoughts, your dreams. Sit in My presence. Open your heart wide. And wait.

Trust that I will meet you there. Know that I am lavishing you with My love and attention. Know that each moment with you is precious to Me, for you are My beloved and it pleases Me beyond measure when you choose to tarry with Me.

Isaiah 40:31 (AMP) But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power…

Beloved, as you tarry with Me, I will refresh and renew – I will sooth you with balm and heal your heart. I will strengthen and encourage you. I will build you up and empower you.

Waiting on Me is no passive activity, much happens and much is accomplished even as you “waste” your time on Me. So pour it out and watch as I pour back – pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing, for I AM a loving Father and I lavish blessings upon My children. Have eyes to see.

Beloved, it is time to soar. Be lifted in the Spirit. Allow My breath to cause you to take flight. Soar with Me, beloved. Rise in My Spirit, and, with eagle-like vision, see. I have so much more in store than you can begin to imagine.

And you’ll find that from the highest heights your perspective is changed. Suddenly you have vision and can better see what lies ahead. So wait on Me. Be refreshed, restored, and strengthened. And then, beloved, rise. It’s time to soar.

Isaiah 40:31 (AMP) But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.

A final Prophetic Nugget from Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Ministries is connected to this. It’s called “I Sustain You.”

Beloved, as you soar with Me, I sustain you. I lift you and carry you by My Spirit. Rest in Me. Trust Me to carry you where you need to go. Soaring on My breath, rising on eagles wings.

Trust Me to show you what you need to see. To give you the perspective and vision I would have you have. And when I don’t show you, trust that I have My reasons then too. Refuse to get tempted into a downward draft, stay firmly in My flow and rest in Me. I AM the sustainer of your life.

When children are little and dream of flying, they will often run around, arms outstretched pretending that they are in the skies with the birds. Yet that time spent dreaming is never wasted nor is it unrealistic. One day, that same child may become a pilot or astronaut. Or they may grow up to create a new invention surrounding flight, taking humanity to new levels. Once upon a time, no man could fly. Yet it has been childlike dreams that have paved the way for our amazing adventures in the skies.

In much the same way, the Heavenly Father is encouraging your dreams of soaring in the Spirit. Many have gone before you and experienced inexpressible things in heavenly places. And perhaps you have observed or read about others in the faith who have reached incredible heights of spiritual maturity and who operate in an awe-inspiring flow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Know that you too were made to soar at great spiritual heights. And the Father is calling you to learn how to use your wings of faith.

Let your childlike curiosity and wonder of spiritual things yield to God’s molding and maturation process. Rising to heavenly places often requires shedding earthly weights and mindsets. Trials and tribulations build our faith and trust in our Creator and bring forth the fullness and the mind of Christ within us. As a result of the process, we don’t forsake our earthly life; instead, we become a new creation, mature sons and daughters of God who are able to see and approach life from a heavenly perspective.

As you wait upon the LORD and trust Him in this time of growth and training, be intentional about learning to use your wings of faith. Resist the urge to strive or default to fleshly responses. Instead, let the trials teach you how to partner with the Holy Spirit. As you do, you will see how the wind of the Spirit is able to lift your mind above the cares of this world. The higher He lifts you, the more you will be amazed by Heaven’s perspective of life on earth. Even more, you will discover the joy of being made to soar in the heavenlies and flow in the Spirit—light and free and in your Father’s domain.

The song “Run with the Horses” by Jenny Weaver is connected to this. The song reminds us that all hope is in Christ. No matter what hurt or trials may come, we must cling to Him and walk in the fullness of all He’s created us to be. The chorus reminds us of this as she sings, “I was made to run to with the horses. I was made to fly with the eagles…” Beloved, it’s time to soar.

Father, thank You that You have called us to soar. Thank You for calling us higher – to new perspectives and fresh revelations. Thank You for strengthening us and preparing us for the flights ahead. To You be all the glory.
