Listen to the Sound reminds us of the roar of the Lion of Judah, the sound of His tribe – moving and preparing, and the purifying fire of His presence.

“Then I heard something like the shout of a vast multitude, and like the boom of many pounding waves, and like the roar of mighty peals of thunder, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all] reigns.” Revelation 19:6 (AMP)

The Lord comes as a lion not to harm us, but to destroy our enemy. He comes to bring us life, and life more abundantly. The Lord comes in and as fire not to harm us, but to cleanse us, to change us into His image and likeness. Only the Lord can do in us what needs to be done. Our best choice is always to agree with Him and let Him bring change for the better. Our agreement can even speed up the process, and help us walk in peace, even when we do not understand. How great and mighty He is to love us so much! To love us enough to not let us stay in our mess, but to pick us up, cleanse us in His fire, restore us, and bring us before our Father, pure and clean.

{seeing} A fire igniting in the hearts of His children so they can carry this light and fire to others and bring change for the better.

The lyrics to two Misty Edwards’ songs are connected to this image. The first is People Get Ready, “I can hear the rhythm of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He’s doing a new thing, so we’re singing a new song. | He’s not a baby in a manger anymore. He’s not a broken man on a cross. He didn’t stay in the grave, And He’s not staying in heaven forever! | He’s alive.” The second is All Consuming Fire, “All-consuming fire You’re our heart’s desire | Living flame of love come baptize us | Let us fall more in love with You | Let us know how high how deep how wide it is | Love Love Love.”

The lyrics to Heather Clark’s Overcome are also connected to this piece. “I’m coming to be touched by the coal. I’m coming that You’d reach out Your hand and make me whole. I’ve walked by this fire so many times but now I’m coming in. I’ve walked by this fire so many times but now I’m coming in. | Purify me Lord. Burn away the things that don’t please You. Create in me a light, A light that shines. | Overcome. I wanna be overcome. Let the fire burn in me for the pure in heart to see You Lord. | Baptize us in the Holy Spirit. Baptize us in fire. | I want to burn for You Lord.  I want to burn.”

The name of the silk in this image is All Consuming Fire. The colors in it are golden yellow representing joyful praise, orange representing fire, and red wine representing passion.

Father let each heart be receptive to You, Your will and Your plan. Let Your fire burn in us!

Note: This is an image pair with Fire of His Presence
