Held by the Everlasting Arms (Olam Zerowa) – Dyed4you Art

Held by the Everlasting Arms (Olam Zerowa) reminds us that the Lord – stronger than the strongest tree, whose roots go down deep and who weathers every storm—holds us safely in His embrace if we will but rest there.

  • Psalm 121:5 (TPT) Jehovah himself will watch over you; he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence.

A post by Meghan Williams from MeghanW.com is connected to this. It’s called “Seeing the Lord of Hosts for Who He Is (Psalm 84).”

Psalm 84:1 (VOICE) [emphasis mine]  “How lovely is Your temple, Your dwelling place on earth, O Eternal One, Commander of heaven’s armies.”

While working on a Prophetic Nugget collection based on Psalm 84 which I titled “YHVH Tsaba – Lord of Hosts (Psalm 84),” I wondered why the author of that psalm selected that specific name of God.

Historically, I’ve thought of the Lord of Hosts much like a great army general – kind of distant, very fierce, and mostly an aspect of God that is (well let’s face it) kind of mean and angry (He’s fighting after all). It’s amazing how we can have biases hovering below the surface we aren’t even conscious of.

The more I meditated on this psalm and God has expanded it to Me through the downloads He’s given, the more I’ve realized how inaccurate my picture has been. This became clear because the subsequent verses speak of love, nurturing, and protection. They’re about relationship and connection.

In reading the content of Psalm 84, I’d probably have addressed it to the Faithful God – Elohim Aman, the Everlasting Arms – Olam Zerowa, God with us – Emanuel, or perhaps even Jealous God – El Qanna. But it’s easy to forget that all these names refer to the same Eternal One. They represent different facets of character, but one Being. And in Psalm 84, the author directs the heartcry to the name (facet of character) Lord of Hosts.

As I meditated on this seeming dichotomy, God began to paint a very different picture. One of a loving husband who would do anything to protect and nurture his family. He would go to war to protect them – even lay down his life if necessary. Not that the fighting is something for him to take pleasure in, but rather a necessity for the safety of those he loves.

What lengths would the conquering hero go to in order to protect his beloved? Or a loving father protecting his child’s life or innocence? How much more so our Creator? Yes He is El Qanna (the Jealous God) because we are His. Not as a possession, but rather as one who has chosen to be accepted into His family.

So with that context of ferocious love, I can begin to understand the depth of affection this YHVH Tsaba – Lord of Hosts – has for me, for all of us. May we embrace the fullness of the depth of affection He has for us and step into greater intimacy with Him as a result.

A Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “Olam Zeroa (Everlasting Arms).”

Beloved, you are precious in My sight. Never forget My love for you or let your circumstances or the world at large cause you to question it. It is firm. Solid. Everlasting. I AM Olam Zeroa, the Everlasting Arms. You are forever wrapped tightly in My embrace. Feel My love, precious one. Pause and feel it.

A series of Prophetic Nuggets from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams are connected to this. They’re based on the 23rd Psalm

Psalm 23:1-6 (VOICE) The Eternal is my shepherd, He cares for me always. He provides me rest in rich, green fields beside streams of refreshing water. He soothes my fears; He makes me whole again, steering me off worn, hard paths to roads where truth and righteousness echo His name. Even in the unending shadows of death’s darkness, I am not overcome by fear. Because You are with me in those dark moments, near with Your protection and guidance, I am comforted. You spread out a table before me, provisions in the midst of attack from my enemies; You care for all my needs, anointing my head with soothing, fragrant oil, filling my cup again and again with Your grace. Certainly Your faithful protection and loving provision will pursue me where I go, always, everywhere. I will always be with the Eternal, in Your house forever.

The first is called “YHVH Rohi (the Lord your Shepherd).

Psalm 23:1 (VOICE) The Eternal is my shepherd, He cares for me always.

Beloved, nothing about you is beneath My notice. You are My heart – the apple of My eye, and I AM always mindful of you. I AM YHVH Rohi – the Lord your shepherd, and you are in My hands.

Trust My love. Resist the urge to try to protect and care for yourself, and instead trust yourself in My capable hands. Yield, beloved. Yield. My compassion for you is inexhaustible, and My love for you is unfailing. Rest in Me.

The second is called “YHVH Rapha (the Lord your Healer).

Psalm 23:2 (VOICE) He provides me rest in rich, green fields beside streams of refreshing water…

Beloved, allow My healing waters to rush over you. I AM YHVH Rapha – the Lord your healer, and I pour out My love over you to bring healing and refreshing. Rest in My love and be restored.

Just as dried, cracked clay is given new life when water rejuvenates it, so beloved, are you fundamentally transformed by My healing flow. So receive. You don’t have to earn it, or convince Me of your worth, for it is yours. Simply rest in My presence and receive.

The third is called “YHVH Tsidkenu (the Lord your Righteousness).”

Psalm 23:2-3 (VOICE) …He soothes my fears; He makes me whole again, steering me off worn, hard paths to roads where truth and righteousness echo His name.

Beloved, I AM YHVH Tsidkenu – the Lord your righteousness. Follow Me, for I will lead you rightly. When you walk with Me, you will not go astray. Walk in truth, and be the child of the Light you’ve been called to be.

Resist the darkness, and the fruit of the enemy’s influence. My perfect love casts out all fear, so refuse to embrace it. Resist the urge to indulge in worry, and instead trust that I AM leading you.

Yield to My soothing touch. And let My rod and My staff bring direction and comfort. I AM with you always, and My counsel is trustworthy for I AM righteousness and I AM truth. Trust in Me.

The fourth is called “YHVH Misgab (the Lord your Strong Tower).”

Psalm 23:4 (VOICE) Even in the unending shadows of death’s darkness, I am not overcome by fear. Because You are with me in those dark moments, near with Your protection and guidance, I am comforted.

Beloved, I AM bigger than you know and stronger than you can comprehend, so trust in Me. I delight in protecting My children. I AM YHVH Misgab – the Lord your Strong Tower, and I’m your hiding place.

I AM a safe place to find refuge. I never shift or change. I AM steadfast and wholly reliable. Run to Me. Rest in Me. Rely on Me. I AM your God, so find safety in My presence. I AM your all in all, and I AM all you need.

The fifth is called “YHVH Jireh (the Lord your Provider).”

Psalm 23:5 (VOICE) You spread out a table before me, provisions in the midst of attack from my enemies; You care for all my needs, anointing my head with soothing, fragrant oil, filling my cup again and again with Your grace.

Beloved, regardless of the time or the place, I take care of My children. I AM YHVH Jireh – the Lord your Provider, and I will supply your needs. Trust yourself to Me. Let me soothe and refresh you in My presence. Let Me overflow you with My life-changing love.

Release the burden of looking out for your own interests, and simply yield to Me. If I appear to withhold, it’s never because I’m angry or punishing you. I act in your best interest. Work with Me instead of struggling against My lead when you don’t understand. You understanding is not necessary, but you yielding is. So rest in Me, beloved, and let Me truly be your God.

The sixth is called “El Olam (the Everlasting God).”

Psalm 23:6 (VOICE) Certainly Your faithful protection and loving provision will pursue me where I go, always, everywhere. I will always be with the Eternal, in Your house forever.

Beloved, I AM faithful from generation to generation. I AM El Olam – the everlasting God, and I AM. Before the beginning and beyond the end, I AM. I do not forget My promises, nor do I neglect My children. I AM steadfast and true.

I AM your rock – a solid foundation on which you can rest. I never change. Rest in My loving arms, for I AM Olam Zerowa – the everlasting arms, and My love will sustain and embrace you for eternity. Yield to Me.

Another Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “Sheltered in My Strong Love.”

Psalm 36:7 (VOICE) Your strong love, O True God, is precious. All people run for shelter under the shadow of Your wings.

Beloved, I wait – with outstretched arms that you might hide in the shadow of My wings. Like a mother bird shelters her chicks, I AM always here to shelter you in My strong love.

It isn’t a question of whether you are worth protecting or if I’m willing, I AM always ready and waiting for you. So come and rest in Me. Refuse to try to “maintain” in your own strength because I AM here for you, beloved, always. So cast your cares on Me.

Run to Me, and cling fast. I AM ready, willing, and able. I AM your comfort and your place of refuge, so find rest and refreshing in Me. I AM El Tsur – God your strength, so find what you need as you rest in Me.

A “Gemstone Reflection” by Naudia Willbroad is connected to this. It is called “Reach for Me.

Beloved, you are mine and eternally I shelter, guard and protect you. I seek you and call you into my sanctuary. You are mine Beloved and I cherish you with an everlasting love. My beloved, you are mine and earnestly I seek you. I seek you out and call you my own. Don’t turn away from me. Don’t deny me. Don’t refuse my love for you. Reach for me my beloved as I reach for you. Just as a child reaches for his mother and yearns to be held so I desire to hold you, caress you and blow kisses on your face, wipe your tears and run my fingers through your hair. My desire is to comfort you. Don’t push me away. Don’t resent my plans for you. It may seem painful at the time but the growth that comes from this pruning will be magnificent. You will be a radiant fruit bearing tree full of my righteousness and truth. You will share my love with others and pour out my heart on my children. Nothing is impossible for you because nothing is impossible for me. I love you my child. Be my hands and feet to the least of these. They are my children to and close to my heart. My heart aches for them. I long to pick them up, wipe their snotty noses, clean their cheeks and bring laughter to their eyes but they push me away. Be my hands and feet. Be my heart towards them that they may see me and believe that I am God, their father and good shepherd.

Beloved, sacrifice without obedience brings only harm and heartache. Seek my heart and know I will reveal all that you need to know as the timing approaches for each phase to be complete. You are my heart and I am proud of you. Delight yourself in me my love and I will make you a fisher of men, and restorer of life. My blood cries out to redeem the lost. Do not for sake me or my ways and I will bless you. I will redeem all that has been hidden and lost. My Beloved, come unto me and I will heal you. I will redeem you and make you whole. Thank you my beloved for restoring the life I have given you for bringing it back to life and redeeming what I have laid at your feet, your purpose, your destiny. Only you can make that choice. Only you can bear the cost and see the reward. Only you can make the choice to redeem all that I have given you. Thank you Beloved…

Beloved, you are My precious one. You never leave My sight. My love and protection are steadfast. My devotion is never ending. I AM Olam Zeroa, the Everlasting Arms. My comfort and security are always here for you.

Choose to remain in My safety. Choose to remain close. Burrow in and lavish Me with your love; abide in Me. Reside in the shadow of My wings. There is safety there and I AM all you need.

A Word called “Rest in My Strength” from Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings is connected to this.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP) but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.

Beloved, I am your strength. I am the very power that sustains your life. My ability to sustain you is much more than physical, and it is always available for you to draw on. However, never is My keeping power more apparent than in times when you feel the weakest. Yes, times of trial can be humbling. Through them, you learn to draw on My strength day to day, and moment to moment when necessary. But I do not wish for you lose sight of this truth, for this is who I am to all the days of your life.

Therefore, resist the urge to hide from Me during the day of your trouble. I can handle your questions, your tears, your doubts, and even your anger. Instead of running away from Me, run towards My loving embrace. I am your strong tower, your place of refuge. Together we will face every situation and thought that threatens to overcome you.

As you seek the shelter of My wings, I will illuminate the heart of the Scriptures to you. You will know peace even in the face of difficulty and uncertain times. I give peace not as the world gives it; My peace reminds you of the depth of My care for you—it is unending. It was never My intention that you face this world alone, struggling from day to day to find your way. All things are in My hand and I desire that you not only survive but thrive. It is My good pleasure and duty to be your comfort, provision, wisdom, vision, and hope. In the day of your trouble, rest in this truth, beloved; it will carry you through.

Remember, the stormy seas will calm. The onslaught of men will abate. The dawn will finally come. Good times will return to you, even though they may seem out of sight in this moment. And when they do come, be certain to take My perfect peace with you. Rest in My strength always, knowing that the one who cares for you will always keep you.

Proverbs 18:10 (NKJV) The name of the LORD [is] a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

John 14:27 (NKJV) “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

1 Peter 5:7 (TPT) Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.

A final Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “I’m Safe in Your Arms {Moments with God}.”

{Pausing in His presence, I feel His arms enclose around me as I say} Papa, I know that I’m safe in Your arms. You – Olam Zerowa, the Everlasting Arms, hold me tightly. You keep me firmly sheltered in Your loving grip. Thank You for the comfort You bring.

{I feel His cheek rest on the top of my head as I nestle in like a child. He whispers} You are My beloved – so precious to Me. I call you Mine, for you are My very own.

{And as His arms close ever so slightly in a gentle squeeze He adds} You are safe with Me. I watch over you, and even My angels guard over you. Rest in My arms. Stay in My embrace. Know that you are seen, and you are loved, for you are Mine and I love you.

Psalm 121:5 (TPT) Jehovah himself will watch over you; he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence.
