Currents of His Love {Water} depicts that place of going deep with God. A place where you are seeking Him out and allowing yourself to be known. It is a place of deep devotion as the deep cries out to deep.

  • Psalm 42:1, 5, 7-8 (VOICE) My soul is dry and thirsts for You, True God, as a deer thirsts for water. Why am I so overwrought? Why am I so disturbed? Why can’t I just hope in God? Despite all my emotions, I will believe and praise the One who saves me and is my life. In the roar of Your waterfalls, ancient depths surge, calling out to the deep. All Your waves break over me; am I drowning? Yet in the light of day, the Eternal shows me His love. When night settles in and all is dark, He keeps me company— His soothing song, a prayerful melody to the True God of my life.

{sensing} The saturation of an ocean’s depth, along with its peace and calm, as the waters gently move around you. It’s as though you are suspended – weightless. It’s as though the healing calm of the waters is flowing in and through you. Receive this anointing, beloved.

A Prophetic Nugget from Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Ministries is connected to this. It’s called “Lose Yourself in the Ocean of My Love.

Isaiah 43:2 (TLB) When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not consume you.

Beloved, regardless of the trials you face, I AM always with you and will never leave you. The waters that feel as though they might drown you cannot rend you from My grip. Release yourself to Me and allow the water of My Spirit to saturate you with the depths of My love.

Focus on My heart for you. Refuse to be distracted by the troubles and worries on every side for My love is larger than, grander than, bigger than anything else. Let it fill you and overwhelm you. As you’re lost in the ocean of My love everything else will pale in comparison. Allow the magnitude of all I AM to right-size everything else for, beloved, everything is small when compared to the vastness of Me. There is nothing to fear. You will not drown nor will flames overtake you, only the beauty of My love will overwhelm you, and that is a safe place to rest.

A Word from Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings is connected to this. It is called “Dive Deep.”

Beloved, I have created you that I might know you. I have brought you forth that you might explore all the depths of who I am. I am love and it is My good pleasure that you would live forever immersed in Me. My love is endless and fathomless, far deeper than the oceans. I am worth knowing and take great joy when you pursue Me with all of your being.

In your encounters with Me, you will sense the depths of My nature, a world without end that beckons you to dive deeper and deeper. When you sense these depths, resist the urge to give into the fear of losing yourself in Me. Be a bold explorer of My heart, knowing that as you lose yourself in the waves of My love you will truly find yourself there. You will inevitably soak in more and more of My nature until you resonate with the sound of My voice. Dive deep, beloved, and let yourself be overwhelmed. In your pursuit of Me, allow yourself to be transformed into an instrument of My Love.

Jeremiah 1:5 (AMPC) Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

1 John 4:17 (TPT) By living in God, love has been brought to its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world.

{sensing} a deep ocean in the darkness of night hours. The water is warm and gently lapping around you as you are suspended, floating in the midst of the deep. A place of vulnerability and complete trust, yet you feel completely safe knowing that, though unseen, you are in His hands. The moonlight reflects on the water like sparkling jewels and a warm breeze brushes your face like a caress. It’s a place of total surrender. You’re overtaken in the depths of His love. His love is like a tangible force. You can feel it filling in the cracks and wounds, bringing healing and restoration. Like the art of kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold so the formerly broken places now are the most beautiful. So His love is filling your hurts with a healing beauty that will make you even more radiant. His love glowing from your full heart.

An Inspired Flow Art piece overlays this image. It is called “Into the Deep.” A portion of the word that goes with it is also connected to this.

Know yourself. Be honest with yourself about your emotions and do so without judgment. Allow your feelings and reactions to be a source of information that teaches you about who you are because you are worth knowing.

Be kind to yourself. Resist the urge to expect perfection or be frustrated at your internal responses to various situations. Instead of trying to change how you feel, allow those feelings to serve as signposts to thoughts and patterns of belief that have been formed in your heart through experience. If then you find faulty beliefs or thought patterns, choose to believe differently and you will find that your emotions will soon follow.

Be mindful of the stories you tell yourself. Resist the urge to assume the worst or believe the worst of yourself or others. Instead be hopeful and loving, choosing to be kind both to yourself and others. Doing so brings much peace in your relationships and your heart.

A series of four Prophetic Nuggets from Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Ministries based on Psalm 42:1, 5, 7-8 (VOICE) are connected to this. The first is called “Unquenchable Fervor.”

Psalm 42:1 (VOICE) My soul is dry and thirsts for You, True God, as a deer thirsts for water.

Beloved, may your heart long for Me with an unquenchable fervor. May you soak in My presence as if your life depends on it – because it does. May your pursuit of Me be relentless, just as Mine is for you. And may you find peace in My presence, for it is there for you.

Where else would you go to assuage your desire? For no person or earthly thing can satisfy the longing in your soul. None but Me, beloved. So resist the urge to look to poor substitutes, and saturate yourself in the fullness of My love.

The second Prophetic Nugget is called “Rest Weightlessly in the Ocean of My Love.”

Psalm 42:5 (VOICE) Why am I so overwrought? Why am I so disturbed? Why can’t I just hope in God? Despite all my emotions, I will believe and praise the One who saves me and is my life.

Beloved, resist the urge to allow tumultuous emotions to weigh you down. Instead, rest weightlessly in the ocean of My love. I AM your heart’s desire, and I AM Ruwm Rosh – the lifter of your head. Look to Me, and let Me meet each need.

I AM holy, beloved, and true to My word. Trust My heart for you. Press through with praise – regardless of circumstance, and see the outpouring of love I lavish upon the ones whose hearts seek fast after Me.

The third is called “Drown in My Depths.

Psalm 42:7 (VOICE) In the roar of Your waterfalls, ancient depths surge, calling out to the deep. All Your waves break over me; am I drowning?

Beloved, is there such a thing as too much of My love? Come drown in My depths. Be lulled in the flow of My Spirit. Be invigorated – My breath like bubbles against your skin. I AM El Shammah – the God who is present, and I AM always with you.

Press into Me and seek out the deep mysteries, for I will not withhold wisdom from those who ask. Be drawn deeper still, for there is no end to Me. Revelation upon revelation. Mercy beyond mercy. Love, endless love. Like a pool of swirling waves, happily drown in the pleasure of knowing and being known.

The final Prophetic Nugget in this series is called “YHVH Zimrath (the Lord your Song).”

Psalm 42:8 (VOICE) Yet in the light of day, the Eternal shows me His love. When night settles in and all is dark, He keeps me company— His soothing song, a prayerful melody to the True God of my life.

Beloved, quiet your soul and hear My song. Its strains whispering peace to those who would listen. Tune in to that golden flow. Let it wash over you. Let it be what mandates the cadence of your life.

Resist the urge to allow the chaos of the world to bring discord, but instead press in deeper, like a child burrowing into their parent’s shoulder – safe, secure, and loved in their arms. I AM your safety and I AM your song – YHVH Zimrath, the Lord your song.

Psalm 42:1, 5, 7-8 (VOICE) My soul is dry and thirsts for You, True God, as a deer thirsts for water.

Bethany Music’s “Love Like an Ocean” is connected to this. The song reminds us of the fathomless depths of God’s love, and it’s both a call to that place and a description of experiencing the overwhelming love of God. It draws us in and sweeps us away on the precious waves of His affections.

The name of the silk in this image is Sabbath Rest. The colors in it are rainbow representing completion, ruby representing belonging to the Lord and purchased, fire representing fierce passion, pale yellow representing joy, pea green representing new life, peacock representing fullness of His word, turquoise representing mikvah (washed and made clean), and plum representing promises of God.

Father, thank You for meeting us in the deep place. Thank You that You are a safe place to be fully transparent – fully vulnerable. We welcome you into the depths of our hearts – the good and the bad, even as we seek out the depths of Yours. To You be all the glory.
