Gibbor (Mighty One) is a reminder that you have been equipped with power from on high, saturated by His Spirit, and imbued with the Spirit of Might. Allow Father to refine the resiliency of your faith just as one tempers steel. Be bold. Have impact. You are a mighty one.

  • Isaiah 54:16-17 (VOICE) I have created the blacksmith who readies the fire and forges weapons for wars; And I have created the destroyer to ravage and ruin. But no instrument forged against you will be allowed to hurt you, and no voice raised to condemn you will successfully prosecute you. It’s that simple; this is how it will be for the servants of the Eternal; I will vindicate them.
  • 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NKJV) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ….

{hearing} “Steel waters run deep.” Steel in this prophetic pun is a nod towards the tempering and refining process that the Father does in our lives through trials and tribulations. Many who are zealous for truth and to uphold God’s Word can struggle to find balance in their passionate nature. The Father says that He is bringing you through your refining process. No matter where your passionate nature has taken you in the past, place all of your trust in God to work in and through you. Don’t let fear cause you to hold back. Trust God’s wisdom in choosing you for your commission and depend fully upon Him to guide you as you flow in the Spirit of Might.

A Prophetic Nugget from our Dyed4you Ministries blog is connected to this. It is called “Refuse to Take the Bait” and it reminds us that our impact is greater than we know. Leaders like David (Psalm 142:4) and Gideon (Judges 6:15) felt weak and small too, but history proves out that in God they were mighty!

Psalm 142:4 (GW) Look to my right and see that no one notices me. Escape is impossible for me. No one cares about me.

Beloved, though there may be times you feel overlooked, unseen, unimportant, and worthless, those feelings are not communicating truth to you. Refuse to take the bait. The enemy seeks to convince you of these things, but he is a liar and the father of lies.

Remember that David, a man after My own heart, a man quoted and beloved, a man still inspiring multitudes hundreds of years later felt the same way. You never know the full impact your life and actions have.

So keep your eyes and heart fixed on Me. Focus on obedience, and knowing and loving My Word. Abide with Me, and allow a life cultivated in that fertile soil to bear fruit and do so abundantly.

The Quickened Word’s article entitled “To Forge and Temper Blue Steel” is connected to this. This article expands upon the concept of God’s tempering process in the lives of His children. For more prophetic insight and download please visit:

A Prophetic Nugget from our Dyed4you Ministries blog is connected to this. It’s called “El Gibhor (Mighty God).”

Jeremiah 32:18 (NKJV) ‘[You] show lovingkindness to thousands, and repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them–the Great, the Mighty God, whose name [is] the LORD of hosts.

I AM El Gibhor, the Mighty God. I AM righteous and powerful, merciful and perfect in my judgment. Nothing is too great for Me. I AM the Lord of hosts with legions of angels at My command, is anything beyond My reach?

Know Who it is you serve. Understand the God you have chosen. I AM the great I AM – beyond your full comprehension – so resist the temptation to try to fit Me into your understanding rather than stretching your understanding to know Me.

I cannot be manipulated or controlled, but I love you and I AM good. Yield yourself to Me, your trust is well-placed here. Partner with Me and together we will move mountains.

{vision} A giant reaching into a storm, taking a bolt of lightning and throwing it to the ground. Next, a child of God was seen in the same place, climbing up on a ladder and doing the same thing as the giant—taking a bolt of lighting and throwing it to the ground.

Lighting can represent power and authority. All power and authority ultimately belong to God but He anoints His vessels to enforce His will. This particular anointing is known as the Spirit of Might (Isaiah 11:2).

Miracle-working power and authority fall under this anointing. It was demonstrated most often by those who were called “mighty ones” or, in Hebrew, gibborim. In Hebrew, “gibbor” speaks of a strong, mighty, and valiant person. The judges of Israel were gibborim and were supernaturally empowered to enforce God’s will in the earth.

Today, the children of God have the same call, tasked with overriding the authority of the enemy and anything contrary to the will of God. As a child of God, you are an emissary of El Gibhor, Mighty God, an agent sent to act on His behalf. Just like a police officer is a delegated authority of the law (and who carries a “shield” or badge representing that authority), in the same way you are called to uphold God’s Word or law. You are both a guardian of God’s people and a servant of the Most High. Keep your ears dedicated to hearing and obeying the voice of El Gibhor. And be unapologetic when it comes to guarding His ways.

The Lord put two shields in this piece. In the natural initially this felt “wrong” but then He reminded that the shield represents faith, and He said “a double portion of faith.” This expanded into a Prophetic Nugget called “Double Portion of Faith.”

2 Kings 2:9 (NKJV) And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”

Beloved, ask and you shall receive. So ask. Ask for a double portion of faith. An encompassing faith that shields and protects in such a way that you are unshakable, the onslaught of the enemy will not shift or overtake you, and your faith in Me never wavers.

Feel your hopeful expectations rising, like the waters of the tide coming in, your capacity to believe big is increasing. You serve a wonder-working God, so expect the miraculous. Stand in faith for it. Encourage others’ faith for it. Stand and believe.

Ephesians 6:16 (EXB) And ·also [in addition to all this; or in all circumstances] use the shield of faith with which you can ·stop [extinguish] all the ·burning arrows [T fiery darts] of the Evil One.

The name of the silk hidden in this image is His Voice Thunders. The colors in it are sky blue representing saturated, baby blue representing seated with the Lord in heavenly places, storm representing whirlwind of God, plum representing promises of God, turquoise representing warfare, and blackberry representing double portion.

Thank you, Mighty One, for being an all-encompassing, wraparound shield to those whom You love. Thank you for choosing us to be your vessels and for guarding us so zealously. We know that faith and trust is pleasing unto you, therefore we ask for a double portion. You are more than worthy of our trust, therefore, we will delight in guarding and keeping Your Word. Amen.
