Double Rest is part of a two-piece series that speaks to an increase, like a double anointing, of rest. Both images in this duet speak and give hope, assurance, and peace.

The doors have opened. His fiery rainbow angels have come to add you, if you will but step through. And this day, CHOOSE to go through and embrace your destiny and future and all that HE has for you. Do not be still, watching these doors swing shut again. It is an appointed time, go through. Do not lag behind, nor be distracted or dissuaded. Choose Him, His way, His will! Yes, God Yes!
There is a prophetic opening to move into that new place with Him. To come into an intimacy and knowledge of this new place. You will make it through the process of resting in Him. As He brings restoration and refreshing, He is downloading a vision of what is to come, putting it before your eyes so that you can run with it.
Step into His waters of refreshing rest and be restored and made whole. Allow Him to speak and minister to your heart. Do not be overwhelmed by what is to come, for with Him by your side – you will always be sustained. Allow His ministering angels to touch your brow and the sweet song of His heartbeat to bring comfort and peace. He surrounds you, rest in Him.
Father, thank you for Your rest. Thank you for Your restoration and ministry to my heart. I trust You. I will rest in You. You are faithful.

Good catch! I wondered if anyone would notice 🙂 No there isn’t. I fought with God about this for a while because the abundant peace silk matches it beautifully, but He said no silk in it. It’s the first piece (other than a couple commissioned book covers) that doesn’t have a silk in it. Feels odd and not sure why He did that and if there will be more like it, but we shall see!
Really feel the breaking off of fear, fear of the unknown, fear of what is ahead, fear of what was going to be behind the doors, and all future doors. Like the reset button has been pushed and now we will move into destined futures and visions, and not be caught in old cycles anymore. This is so beautiful, comforting and encouraging. I love it!

How did I just find this beautiful piece today??!! The colors, the intent, the spirit of it convey so much of what I needed and where I am at this moment. The ocean has always been a representation of Father’s power to me. On the wild and dark shores of the pacific northwest, the ocean demonstrates a force of restraint and chaos and sheer power all at once. It is breathtaking and fearsome to behold even when the waters are peaceful as the depths hold so much MUCHNESS! Thank you Father for this artistic blessing!!
