Pure Love represents the warm, joyous glow of pure love being received.
“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:25-27 (ESV)

As honored and blessed as our earthly marriages are, we must always remember that any love our spouses’ pour forth are simply reflections of Christ’s immeasurable love for us. So whether the Lord chooses to love us through our spouse or in our quiet moments alone with Him, it is His pure love that fills the need in our hearts, and it is His love that we are rooted and grounded in because His love never waivers.
Thank You for Your unshakeable, pure love. Thank You for pouring it forth through human vessels and sanctifying us as we yield to be those vessels. May we strive for our love to reflect the pure, true love that You have given to us.
