In His Marvelous Light
In His Marvelous Light – Dyed4you Art

In His Marvelous Light depicts the bride face-to-face with the Lion of Judah. The fire of His presence and His glory surrounds them. It reminds us that in that place, we can humbly “cast our crowns.” We can realize human striving is a fleshly endeavor and that worry and fear simply demonstrate our struggle to trust and rest in Him. And so in that place where His glorious presence surrounds, we can choose to fully release ourselves to Him and trust in the goodness of His name.

  • Deuteronomy 5:4 (NLT) At the mountain the LORD spoke to you face to face from the heart of the fire.
  • Numbers 6:24-26 (VOICE) The Eternal One bless and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Eternal lift up His countenance to look upon you and give you peace.
  • Esther 5:2-3 (ESV) And when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, she won favor in his sight, and he held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter. And the king said to her, “What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given you, even to the half of my kingdom.”

A Meditation of the Word called “Renewing Our Focus” from Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings is connected to this.

Psalm 46:10 (VOICE) “Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God. I am the God above all the nations, and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth.

When we are yoked with our Creator, there are moments when we’re not going at the same speed that He is. When we are out of alignment with Him, we can feel it as tug upon our soul. Sometimes that tug is gentle, and at other times—when we are insistent in our striving—that tug is much more firm. “Stop striving,” He beckons. “Stop pulling against My yoke. It’s time to come and sit at My feet and just rest. It’s time to remind yourself of Who is leading.”

This call is reminiscent of Psalm 46:10, where God tells us to “be still and know” that He is God. When we dig deeper into the Hebrew of this text, there is beautiful insight into what God is asking us to do in the moments when we feel that tug upon our souls. The command “be still” in Hebrew is raphah (Strong’s H7503), which means “to sink, relax, sink down, let drop, be disheartened.” One definition according to the Gesenius’ Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon is “to leave off anything, e.g. a work begun, Neh. 6:8… Psalm 46:11 ‘leave off your own attempts and know.’”

Think of a field hand diligently working the soil in a field. His supervisor suddenly calls out to stop work and take a break. So the field hand immediately stops, lets go of the tool in his hand, and walks away to take that break. In much the same way, when God tells us to “be still,” He’s calling us to stop striving over a matter in our lives and come into a place of rest.

Yet there’s a second layer to this call. God asks us to “be still and know” that He is God. Not only must we stop striving, but we must also be intentional to realign our focus on God. In Psalm 46:10, the Hebrew word for “know” is yada (H3045). Yada alludes to a type of knowledge that involves an intimate perception of something. Yada is also used euphemistically for the intimacy between spouses. (Genesis 4:1 says that Adam “knew” his wife Eve, and she conceived and bore their son Cain.) When we really comprehend a person or matter, we obtain intimate knowledge. We gain a unique clarity of perception.

In 1 Corinthians 13:11-12, Paul says, “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known” (NKJV). When we feel the call to “be still and know,” God is calling us to realign our focus in that moment. This is a precious gift, an opportunity for us to enter the Holy of Holies and have a “face to face” moment with Him. This is a call to reconnect with the Source of Love.

When we are striving, there is a misalignment in our spiritual vision and our misperception of love concerning a particular matter. Clarity can only be found when we’re seeing the matters of life the way that God sees them. By the flesh, we have a cloudy, distant perception of life, but with God, we have access to a full level of disclosure.

Are you anxious and afraid over a matter? Do you feel alone and without answers or help? Or perhaps, you feel exhausted and weak, facing a challenge in your life to which you feel at a disadvantage. It’s time to “be still and know.” It’s time to reconnect with your Creator and remember that He has everything under control. Let His love and peace wash over you, and allow Him to give you fresh revelation for the road ahead.

A prophetic download from Jessica Smith of Jessica Smith Art is connected to this. It’s called “Eyes of Fire.

20 years ago I saw Jesus face to face. His eyes were orange and yellow fire…I was drawn to gaze into the intense flames in His eyes. Gazing intimately into the eyes of Jesus is the place of deliverance and peace.

Jesus is calling all of us to gaze into His blazing eyes of fire and love and receive into us that flow of anointing and power until the pressure finally breaks the yoke of bondage and every dark demonic being on assignment against our lives is so tormented by the light of Jesus’s fiery gaze that they are completely broken off us.

He whispers to us, “Don’t look to the left or to the right. Don’t become distracted from My eyes.” This is not just a place of deliverance, but of forever intimacy. It’s the source of Life. It’s daily Bread. It’s the object of our fervent affection. It’s the first and only Love. It’s the air we breathe. It’s our everlasting reward. Jesus King of Glory, our heart’s desire.

Jesus said to me, “The fire that burns in My eyes is LOVE. The power to break all fear and anxiety is found in My eyes. Look into My eyes and be perfected in My love. Gaze into my fire and be purified. I alone have the power to cast out demons and break every yoke…”

There is NO FEAR IN LOVE, but perfect love CASTS OUT fear (1 John 4:18). GOD IS LOVE (1 John 4:8). His eyes are a FLAME OF FIRE (Rev. 19:12). You have said, “SEEK MY FACE.” My heart says to you, “Your face, LORD, do I seek.” (Ps. 27:8) The yoke shall be destroyed because of the ANOINTING (Isa. 10:27). And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, PRINCE OF PEACE (Isa. 9:6).

The eyes of Jesus… the cure for fear

A Word called “Blossom in the Light of My Countenance” from Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings is connected to this.

Beloved, just as flowers flourish in the light of the sun, you were created to blossom in the light of My countenance. When My face is turned towards you, My blessing, favor, and honor abound towards you. Indeed, I designed your very being to respond to and flourish in My Presence. Just as creation responded to My voice in the beginning, so the potential I’ve placed within you naturally springs forth in response to My Light.

Therefore, hear Me beckon, beloved. Draw near, and turn your face towards Me. Resist the urge to hide your face out shame or fear, for My mercy has paved the way for you to enter My Presence. When you position yourself to have a face-to-face relationship with Me, it is life-changing and live-giving. Yes, this level of intimacy can feel intense. You may feel vulnerable and exposed at times. Yet remember—the safest place you can be is close to Me.

Therefore, beloved, boldly enter into My Presence. Come and soak up the life and blessing I so long to lavish you with. As you bask in the light of My eternal love, surely you will be transformed from glory to glory.

Deuteronomy 5:4 (NLT) At the mountain the LORD spoke to you face to face from the heart of the fire.

Numbers 6:24-26 (VOICE) The Eternal One bless and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Eternal lift up His countenance to look upon you and give you peace.

A Word called “My Love is Unwavering” from Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings is connected to this.

Numbers 23:19 (NIV) God is not human, that he should lie not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Precious child, I have set My love upon you. My love is sure and the most stable truth of all. My heart is not fickle like that of a human, able to be hot one moment and cold the next. I do not grow bored, weary, or impatient. My affections for you do not depend upon how well or how poorly you perform; in fact, you cannot earn what I have already given you freely. And having given you My love, know, dear child, that that love is irrevocable.

I have claimed you as My own and sealed your adoption through the Blood of the Lamb. Every time you stumble and fall, know surely that I will lift you up. I will dust you off, heal your hurts, and help you get your footing again. During the times you come face to face with your weaknesses, turn to me and allow My perfect love to wash over you and strengthen you. My love is always present and available, waiting for you to grasp ahold of it. I will give sureness to your steps again and hold your hand as you continue to walk the path of life. I will never abandon you.

If ever your fears tempt you to question My affections and intentions toward you, resist the urge to run and hide in shame. Instead, remind yourself of Who I Am. I Am your Father. I Am your Redeemer. I Am Faithful. Most of all, I Am love, and My love is unwavering.

2 Corinthians 6:18 (TPT) I will be a true Father to you, and you will be my beloved sons and daughters,” says the Lord Yahweh Almighty.

Romans 8:38-39 (TPT) So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

A series of five Prophetic Nuggets from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams are connected to this. They’re based on Aaronic Blessing found in Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP):

The Lord bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you]; The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor], And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness]; The Lord lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval], And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].’

The first Prophetic Nugget is called “Rest in My Goodness.”

Numbers 6:24 (AMP) The Lord bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you];

Beloved, I AM your strong tower – YHVH Misgab, and your provider – YHVH Jireh. I sustain you and work on your behalf. For I love My children, and I would see them flourish and thrive. Align yourself with Me, and rest in My goodness.

For I AM the bringer of light and love – in Me you find life. So embrace My love, and let it in – refuse to resist it, and see the beauty it brings forth. I AM your all in all. Rest in My love and the abundant life I bring; for beloved, I think you’re worth it.

The second Prophetic Nugget is called “The Glory of My Countenance.”

Numbers 6:25 (AMP) The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor]…

Beloved, look to Me. Set your gaze upon My face, and refuse to be distracted or look away. Let the glory of My countenance radically change who you are and how you think. Become more like Me. Think like Me. Expect mountains to move, like Me.

Be so focused on Me that as I make a way where there seems to be no way, not only are you not surprised, but you take it as a matter of course. For I AM God. Nothing is too hard for Me. I make a way for My children as they walk with Me (or I close the way they should not go). So trust Me, and trust Me to lead, for I AM the Waymaker, and the Maker of heaven and earth.

The third Prophetic Nugget is called “Be Like Me.”

Numbers 6:25 (AMP) The Lord… be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness];

Beloved, I AM kind and good. I AM patient and slow to anger. I surround you with My love and grace. Be like Me. I extend grace where it isn’t warranted, and grant forgiveness where it isn’t earned. Be like Me.

May you so reflect My countenance that looking at your character allows a glimpse of Me. Love well. Be kind. Extend mercy. Walk in the kind of radical faith that causes the atmosphere to shift. Be My vessel to bring heaven into earth. Be like Me.

The fourth Prophetic Nugget is called “Divine Favor.”

Numbers 6:26 (AMP) The Lord lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval]…

Beloved, you are My child, and I look upon you with the eyes of love. Just as earthly parents give favor to their children simply because they love them, so I grant My favor to you. You are the apple of My eye – My heart’s desire, deeply precious you are to Me.

Walk in the divine favor you’ve been given. Refuse to walk as one who is unloved or rejected, alone or unprotected; for that is not you. You are accepted and cherished. I see you for who you are, and I find you beautiful. Walk in the truth of who you are to Me.

The fifth Prophetic Nugget is called “Be Bathed in My Peace.”

Numbers 6:26 (AMP) The Lord… give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].’

Beloved, My peace I’ve given you, so resist the urge to be swept up into the storms that surround you. Instead stay rooted in Me. Be firm in My presence with your gaze on My face. Be encouraged by My countenance as you see it reflect back to you the truth of who I AM and who you are to Me.

Rest in the assurance you find in Me. Allow it to bathe you in My peace. Let that shalom – the peace that wars against chaos – saturate your heart and be reflected in your life and your countenance. May all who see you know you serve the living God, YHVH Shalom – the Lord your peace.
