Favored One – Dyed4you Art

Favored One reminds us that we are chosen by God – favored and beloved, and that we flourish and bear fruit as we are firmly rooted and grounded in Him. 

  • Isaiah 22:22-24 (AMP) “Then I will set on his shoulder the key of the house of David; When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open. I will drive him like a peg in a firm place, And he will become a throne of honor and glory to his father’s house. So they will hang on him all the honor and glory [the complete responsibility] of his father’s house, offspring and issue [of the family, high and low], all the least of the articles, from the bowls to all the jars. 
  • Matthew 3:17 (AMP) and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased and delighted!”

Beloved, let Me wrap you in My favor and mark you by My love. For you are My precious child, and My delight rests in you. I want to lavish you in My glory, and root you in My truth. Embrace My love and hold on fast as My favor rests on you.

You don’t need to earn My love or strive for My approval. Simply walk in love with a clean, pure heart and know that I AM with you. You need not fear, or hold yourself back as you walk with Me, for I have made you just the way you are and I will love you for eternity.

During prayer time one day God highlighted the name “Seth” to me and below are revelations and the prophetic download I received as I pursued God’s heart. 

Genesis 5:3 (AMP) [emphasis mine] When Adam had lived a hundred and thirty years, he became the father of a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth. 

The name of Seth can mean Appointed. 

Definition of “appointed“: to name or assign to a position, an office, or the like; designate: to appoint a new treasurer; to appoint a judge to the bench. to determine by authority or agreement; fix; set: to appoint a time for the meeting. (Dictionary.com)

{vision} Saw a hand reaching down from heaven and the impression was from the verse Matthew 3:17 (AMP) And behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased and delighted!”

Dear Favored One, for such a time as this have you been selected. You were created before the foundations of the earth to fulfill my purpose. My purpose is this: to be loved by Me and take that love to others. That is it. You are My child, created in My image. I am Love, so therefore you are created to reflect that love, to be that love. In order to do that you must receive My love. You are My child, My Favored One. 

So, come and crawl into My lap. I am your captive audience. I want to hear all you have to say. I want to see all that you have to show Me. Allow Me in. My desire is for you. I want to show you all My wonders. I want you to come create with Me. You were created by Me at this appointed time to be with Me. Only you can fulfill that space in My heart. Only you can partner with Me and create with Me the beautiful things that I have planned for us to do together. Only you! I love you, My child – My Favored One. I love you. {Sensing a tender, gentle voice soothing the pain and removing all doubts and unbelief. Healing the broken heart and mind and removing weapons of wounding. Replacing and transforming all misgivings and lies with truth and love.}

A testimony called “Sent One” from Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings is connected to this.

{vision} I saw myself wearing a rather unique necklace. The pendant was designed like a gyroscope, yet instead of a “wheel within a “wheel,” there was a “coin within a coin.” One coin face had a lion’s head and another that of a man. I had the sense that the other coin faces mirrored the rest of the four living creatures connected to the throne of God, the eagle and the ox (Ezekiel 1, Revelation 4).

Though this vision came to me as a quick flash, many things were downloaded to my spirit all at once. God has been speaking to me a lot about living from a place of our authority in Him. According to Ephesians 2:6, we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. I can be honest and say that, although I know this truth with my mind, it is a much different thing to know it in your bones and feel secure in that knowledge. Doubt, fear, and insecurities creep in and cause us to feel weak and worthless. Therefore, I knew this vision of the necklace was meant to give me further revelation about our kingly authority in Christ.

The necklace in my vision references the throne of God on several levels. Of course, “the wheel within wheel” motif points directly to the throne of God (Ezekiel 1:15-21). The “faces” of the coin allude to the presence of God because the word for “presence” in Hebrew is paniym (H6440), which can be translated as “faces.” For me, the lion is symbolic of kingly authority, while the head of a man echoes that theme since, in Hebraic thought, the head is associated with leadership (think of the term “head of state”).

I could sense that the fact that the pendant looked like a gyroscope also had further significance. When I looked up the purpose of a gyroscope, the words were strongly highlighted to me, “a device used for measuring or maintaining orientation and angular velocity.” I sensed that God wanted to speak to me about being secure in my position (seat of authority) in Christ as I moved forward in the things He had called me to do. If ever I found myself out of alignment with Him, the revelation He was bringing was meant to help me get back on track.

Another part of this message was within the use of the coins themselves. Many coins have been highlighted to me recently. A few years ago, I remember hearing a prophetic person talk about how pennies are a personal symbol to her of being a sent one. (Literally, pennies are one cent in value.) In biblical times, sent ones or apostles (in Hebrew shaliah) are considered to be a legal messenger or agent that carries the authority of the one who sent them and carries out actions on their behalf.

Coins are very similar in that they are monetary representatives. Coins are given a specific value based on what they are made of and how they are imprinted. In most modern economies, we can’t walk into a store with raw silver, nickel, copper, etc. and use it the way we would a coin. The metals the coins are made out are given much more weight simply through the minting process.

When we become carriers of Christ by the Spirit, we too are minted in a way. We are stamped with the face or image of God, and it completely changes our value. We are no longer simply flesh; we carry the weight of glory and the authority of the One who sits at the right hand of God. We have been stamped with the very nature of God.

Again, these are truths we know as Christians, but we don’t always actively walk in the dominion that God has bestowed upon us. Our divine authority is akin to having billions of dollars at one’s disposal to carry out the will and good plans of our employer but not using it out of ignorance, fear, or insecurity. In truth, we received authority at the dawn of creation when God determined that humanity would be made in His image and “rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground” (Genesis 1:26). God created us to reign and act as an extension of Him in the earth.

While sin may have disconnected us from this position of honor in creation, Christ’s sacrifice has restored it. Our value as sons and daughters of God is intrinsic and unchanging even when we lose sight of it. Often the trials of life and the gravity of the earthly realm can cause us to get off track in our divinely appointed purpose. However, the Spirit within us is ever ready to help us stay on course with the work that God has sent us to accomplish.

Colossians 1:21-23 (TPT) Even though you were once distant from him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, he reconnected you back to himself. He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored, if indeed you continue to advance in faith, assured of a firm foundation to grow upon. Never be shaken from the hope of the gospel you have believed in. And this is the glorious news I preach all over the world.

John 15:16 (AMP) You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.

He choose you for this time. So, no matter the circumstances, no matter the situation, know that God chose you. He wanted you, and He knows you can complete this mission – this adventure, this journey, this task – you have been appointed to. He created you and equipped you in a unique way so that only you can fulfill this part of His plan. No matter where you have been. No matter what you have been told, know that you are chosen and highly favored by the King of kings, Lord of lords, and Father of all.

Ephesians 1:4-5 (AMP) Just as [in His love] He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined and lovingly planned for us to be adopted to Himself as [His own] children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the kind intention and good pleasure of His will.

A few years ago, I was reading an article about the human soul from a Jewish perspective, and I was struck by the following phrase, “The root of the soul is God.” These words resonated within me as truth, particularly in light of the creation account. The Word says that God formed man out of the dust of the ground and breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and man became a living being (Genesis 2:7). While the rest of creation was formed through God’s speech, God bestowed humanity with a little piece of Himself in order to bring us to life.

Yet to have a little piece of the Eternal One isn’t such a little thing when we really stop to think about it. Our humanity enshrouds a potent drop of the Divine. Meanwhile, the Holy Spirit maintains the connection between the human soul and God, enabling us to be extensions of Him in the earth. How amazing!

Although we cannot see our souls, it is much like the idea of a seed that is planted, sprouts roots, and steadily grows into a tree. A tree’s origins as a small seed can often seem like a distant memory. However, that seed is still a present reality in the life of the tree. The small seed contained all of the genetic information necessary to bring the full grown tree into existence. Essentially, the tree is an extension of a tiny yet mighty seed.

In the midst of a fallen world, this truth can embolden us if we’re able to grasp ahold of it. We may more frequently focus on our human fragility and failings, but the miracle in the midst of our imperfections is that a small seed of the Divine resides within us. When we are willing to tap into our connection with God through the Holy Spirit, He is able to strengthens our inner being with His power (Ephesians 3:14).

I often tap into this overcoming power when I choose to view my circumstances through the lens of my identity as an extension or child of God. How does the all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-loving God view my current problems? Of course, my problems quickly dwarf in size when I remember who I’m seated in heavenly places with (Ephesians 2:6). To know that I was created by and am held by perfect love is empowering, for it opens my heart to receive the character, wisdom, knowledge—the very fullness—of God.

Ephesians 3:14-19 (NIV) For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 2:6-7 (NIV) And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

The first Prophetic Nugget is called “Look for My Fingerprints.”

Beloved, as you live your life firmly rooted in Me, blessings await you at every turn. Refuse to be blind to that which has been lavished on you simply because it takes a different form than you expected. 

Make a game of finding My fingerprints on the blessings that surround you. Look for My winks from heaven that acknowledge the intimacy between us. For I AM present, and I AM moving. So see My hand at work and give glory to Me.

The second Prophetic Nugget is called “Yield to Me.”

Beloved, refuse to be drawn in by those with wicked intent. Trust your intuition, for My Holy Spirit will prompt you through such means. So if someone seems off though they have all the outward signs of righteousness, proceed with caution. Since you know their fruit will demonstrate the true nature of their intent, watch and wait to see the type fruit they yield. 

For a good tree cannot put forth bad fruit, nor a bad tree put forth good fruit. So move with caution as you watch and wait. For the ploys of the enemy are devious at every turn, and yet you need not be afraid as you rest in Me. So if My Spirit urges caution, heed without delay. Wait on Me, and trust My Spirit to lead you. Your role is simply to yield to Me. 

The third Prophetic Nugget is called “Sincerity and Truth.”

Psalm 1:1 (VOICE) God’s blessings follow you and await you at every turn…When you avoid sin’s highway, when judgment and sarcasm beckon you, but you refuse.

Beloved, resist the urge to indulge in sarcasm regardless of how seemingly innocuous it may be. For careless words may wound as surely as the fiercest blade, and woe be to the one who uttered them. 

Let your yes be yes, and your no be no, and let sincerity and truth ring from your mouth. For the heart and wellbeing of another far outweigh a moment’s thoughtless indulgence – when carefree becomes careless to another’s heart.

The fourth Prophetic Nugget is called “Flourish in Life Abundant.”

Psalm 1:2 (VOICE) For you, the Eternal’s Word is your happiness. It is your focus—from dusk to dawn.

Beloved, there is so much of Me to know and explore. So feast on My Word, and meditate on it night and day. For as you seek Me, I allow Myself to be found. I beckon you deeper – a feast of life and truth before you, indulge in Me and be satisfied.

As you make Me your focus and live with your heart ever fixed on Mine, My strength becomes your foundation and your joy will come from Me. For only I complete you, and in Me you find your rest. So feast on Me and the things of My Kingdom, and flourish in life abundant. 

The fifth Prophetic Nugget is called “Life is Coming Forth.”

Psalm 1:3 (VOICE) You are like a tree, planted by flowing, cool streams of water that never run dry. Your fruit ripens in its time; your leaves never fade or curl in the summer sun . No matter what you do, you prosper.

Beloved, expand to the left and to the right, for now is the time to grow. Your roots have gone deep, so your foundation is secure. So let life burst forth, for life will not be contained. Rather vigorously growth takes place when the possibility of it can no longer await manifestation.

Just as a woman nine months pregnant cannot decide to delay delivery inevitably or until it is more convenient, so shall this new life – new growth – come amidst travail but with joyous conclusion. Conclusion of the labor simply marks the beginning of a new and greater work. Indeed, be ready, beloved, for life is coming forth.

Ephesians 3:14-21 (TPT) Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.

Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen!

You are known and loved. Every hidden desire, need, want, shame, disappointment, and fear are known by God and He loves every part of you. He wants you to know how valued, treasured, cherished and delighted in you are. You are His child. You are His heart. He created you to be known and loved by Him.

The word “know” can have many meanings when it comes to the Hebrew or Greek context. Ultimately, it means that God knows every single part of you and loves it all and He is calling you to know Him in the same way. Yes, there are times He may be disappointed in your choices but, oh, how many more times are there when He is ecstatic over the steps you are taking, the progress you are making to become more like Him. 

He delights in you, His Child, and He is constantly whispering in your ear “Well done my child, well done!!!” He is so proud of you and is constantly saying of you, “Here is my child, that I love beyond words and am so pleased and delighted in! This delight and pride is revealed in the favor you receive as you walk on the path He has planned and appointed you for. Receive this love and favor, and know how much your Abba Daddy delights in you and rejoices over you in every way. 

{Hearing} You were born for an appointed time. Your design, your creation was highly favored by Me. You were created for a purpose and that purpose is to be My child, My Favored One. Nothing you do, no direction you go in, no decision you make will separate you from my love. Do I have ordained plans for you? Yes, I do, yet no matter whether you choose to follow the path I have for you or not I love you. (Romans 8:38-39 (AMP))

Father, thank You for loving us, choosing us, and favoring us. Though we may not feel worthy of such abundant blessing we are honored by it. May we always walk in the fullness of the love You’ve lavished on us, and may it be to Your glory.
