Song of the Redeemed

Song of the Redeemed depicts the dawn of a new day where His mercies are new and the one who has been delivered and redeemed is bringing forth a new song of praise to YHVH Ga’al (the Lord my Redeemer, Isaiah 49:26), YHVH Palat (the Lord my Deliverer, Psalm 18:2), the One who is worthy!

“From the rising of the sun to the going down of it and from east to west, the name of the Lord is to be praised!” Psalm 113:3 (AMPC)

“Make music to praise Yahweh, you faithful people who belong to him. Remember his holiness by giving thanks.” Psalm 30:4 (NOG)

“Put Your strength, Eternal One, on display for all to see; we will sing and make music of Your mighty power.” Psalm 21:13 (VOICE)

“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” Psalm 32:7 (NIV)

“He delivers me from my enemies; you snatch me away from those who attack me; you rescue me from violent men. So I will give you thanks, O LORD, before the nations! I will sing praises to you.” 2 Samuel 22:49-50 (NET)

The lyrics from Let Praise Arise (a spontaneous worship song) by Jeremy Riddle and Kristene DiMarco of Bethel Music is connected to this piece, “You are great and greatly to be praised! For You are great and greatly to be praised. | We stir it up. We stir it up. We bring our all. Bring it all. We stir it up. We raise our voice. We make our praise to Your throne. | Let praise arise. Let praise arise. ‘Cause You’re the biggest thing in our eyes, let praise arise. Let praise arise. Let praise arise. ‘Til You’re the biggest thing, the greatest thing in our eyes. | We magnify You, God! Let praise arise! Let praise arise! Make Him the greatest thing, make Him the greatest thing in your eyes. | We praise the Lord! Make Him the greatest God! | You are holy! You are so holy! Holy, holy, You are so holy! Lovely, lovely, You are so lovely.”

A new sound in the atmosphere – a song of the redeemed – bringing hope and healing, joy and deliverance to all who hear for He inhabits the praises of His people. Release the sound! Bring His presence, bring hope, bring joy – don’t hold back, don’t be concerned for the praises or criticisms of man, release the sound He has put in you.

Father, thank You for Your joy and the strength that it brings. Thank You for stirring up hope. Thank You for allowing us to be part of that process. Thank You for redeeming us and delivering us. Thank You for snatching our feet from the net. May our songs be a sweet aroma of praise before Your throne.
