Woman of Valor depicts a strong, faithful, courageous woman – called to lead and to be a light. She is steadfast and mighty, and deeply in love with the Lord. Her passion for Him burns like fire.
Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. Proverbs 31:10 (KJV)
The word used for “valor” in Hebrew where the Word reference David’s “mighty men of valor” is chayil. This is the same Hebrew word used in our verse that was translated as “virtuous”. Valiant. Virtuous. Mighty. Strong. Wealth. A force. We are called to be chayil.
The silk in this image is also called Woman of Valor. The colors in it are black representing death to self, turquoise representing revelation and deep healing, and chartreuse representing new beginning and praise.
Father, awaken Your women of valor. Stir their hearts that they might burn for You. Empower them to be steadfast and holy, set apart for You. May they do mighty exploits with the Lord of Hosts!
