Bondage Breaker: the Shield depicts our Rear Guard, the Lion of Judah who breathes life over us. It reminds us, “Do not be afraid. The One who loves you loves fiercely.” We rest in the shadow of the Almighty and find refuge in His wings. We can rest assured and praise in full confidence for our God is faithful.

  • Psalm 3:3 (VOICE) But You, Eternal One, wrap around me like an impenetrable shield. You give me glory and lift my eyes up to the heavens.
  • Psalm 91:4 (VOICE) Like a bird protecting its young, God will cover you with His feathers, will protect you under His great wings; His faithfulness will form a shield around you, a rock-solid wall to protect you.
  • 2 Samuel 22:16 (NKJV) Then the channels of the sea were seen, The foundations of the world were uncovered, At the rebuke of the LORD, At the blast of the breath of His nostrils.

A word called “Be Brave and Bold” from June Reinke of Prophetic Light is connected to this (found at https://propheticlight.org/2017/prophecies/be-brave-and-bold/). This reminds us we are strong in the Lord, that He makes us bold as a lion, and that the enemy cannot win against us with the Lord on our side. It encourages us not to be afraid or intimidated, and that as we stand fast in the Word and in His Spirit that the enemy will run and cower in fear. Refuse to bend. Stay armed and be triumphant.

A Word to Ponder by Sandy Warner of the Quickened Word is connected to this. It is called “New Level, New Defense“ and is based on John 14:26-27 and Philippians 4:6-7. This reveals a whole new defense God is releasing and the protection He is bringing as well as a reminder of His deep, abiding peace, and that one of our strongest weapons is that of prayer.

A Prophetic Nugget from our Dyed4you Ministries blog is connected to this. It is called “YHVH Tsur (the Lord my Strength).”

Psalm 144:1 (JUB) Blessed be the LORD my strength, who trains my hands for the battle and my fingers for the war:

Beloved, I will never send you into battle unarmed, unequipped, or unprepared. Behold I know the plans I have for you, and they are good. I prepare each step – both the easy and the difficult, the joyous and the trying – I prepare them all and each has purpose.

Each step builds upon the last and each step prepares you for what lies ahead. Resist the urge to rush. Resist the urge to tarry. Stay in My flow and trust My timing. Trust My leading. Trust Me to prepare you. And know I AM your strength.

Psalm 144:1-2 (NOG) Thank Yahweh, my Tsur, who trained my hands to fight and my fingers to do battle, my merciful one, my Metsuda, my stronghold, and my savior, my Magen, the one in whom I take refuge, and the one who brings people under my authority.

Another Prophetic Nugget from our Dyed4you Ministries blog is connected to this. It is called “Put Your Confidence in Me.”

Ephesians 6:16 (AMP) Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Beloved, faith is complete confidence in Me. Confidence that I AM who I say I AM. Confidence I’ll do what I’ve said I’ll do. Confidence that I AM. Put your trust in Me for I AM faithful. I AM reliable. I AM trustworthy. I will not let you down. Rest in Me.

Let your faith be unshakable. Let no circumstance or situation give you pause to wonder about Me. I AM always at work and always working on for the good. Let your faith in Me be unshakable. Just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego said to Nebuchadnezzar, “our God is able to rescue us…but even if He doesn’t we will serve no other.” Their faith in Me and My plans was steadfast. In the same way beloved, let your faith surpass your ability to understand what I am doing and simply trust. I AM worthy of your faith for I AM El Aman, the Faithful God.

Daniel 3:16-18 (VOICE) Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to defend our actions in this matter. We are ready for the test. If you throw us into the blazing furnace, then the God we serve is able to rescue us from a furnace of blazing fire and release us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if He does not, O king, you can be sure that we still will not serve your gods and we will not worship the golden statue you erected.

The name of the silk in this image is the Lion Protects His Cubs. The colors in it are orange representing Lion of Judah, dark red representing power in the Blood, dark gray representing crowned in humility, pea green representing flourishing, and sky blue representing seated with the Lord in heavenly places.

Thank You, Father, for Your love for us and thank You for Your protection over us. We trust You. We praise You. To You be all the glory! Amen.
