Warrior Watchman – Dyed4you Art

Warrior Watchman reminds us to stay alert, to watch and listen, to refuse to be distracted, and to seek wisdom on what to do with what we see – including refusing to be silent when God calls upon us to speak.

  • Ezekiel 33:7 (VOICE) Son of man, I have appointed you as a lookout for the nation of Israel. You must listen to what I have to say, then go and pass My warning on to your countrymen.

A prophetic download called “Sent One” from Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings is connected to this.

{vision} I saw myself wearing a unique necklace. The pendant was designed like a gyroscope, yet instead of a “wheel within a “wheel,” there was a “coin within a coin.” One coin face had a lion’s head and another that of a man. I had the sense that the other coin faces mirrored the rest of the four living creatures connected to the throne of God, the eagle and the ox (Ezekiel 1, Revelation 4).

Though this vision came to me in a quick flash, many things were downloaded to my spirit all at once. God has been speaking to me a lot about living from the place of our authority in Him. According to Ephesians 2:6, we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. I can be honest and say that, although I know this truth with my mind, it is a much different thing to know it in my bones and feel secure in that knowledge. Doubt, fear, and insecurities can creep in and cause a child of God to feel weak and worthless. Therefore, I knew this vision of the necklace was meant to give me further revelation about our kingly authority in Christ.

The necklace in my vision references the throne of God on several levels. Of course, “the wheel within wheel” motif points directly to the throne of God (Ezekiel 1:15-21). The “faces” of the coin allude to the presence of God because the word for “presence” in Hebrew is paniym (H6440), which can be translated as “faces.” For me, the lion is symbolic of kingly authority, while the head of a man echoes the same theme since, in Hebraic thought, the head is associated with leadership (think of the term “head of state”).

I could sense that the fact that the pendant looked like a gyroscope also had further significance. When I looked up the purpose of a gyroscope, the words were strongly highlighted to me, “a device used for measuring or maintaining orientation and angular velocity.” I sensed that God wanted to speak to me about being secure in my position (seat of authority) in Christ as I moved forward in what He had called me to do. If ever I found myself out of alignment with Him, the revelation He was bringing was meant to help me get back on track.

Another part of this message was within the use of the coins themselves. Many coins have been highlighted to me recently. A few years ago, I remember hearing a prophetic person talk about how pennies are a personal symbol to her of being a “sent one.” (Literally, pennies are “one cent” in value.) In biblical times, sent ones or apostles (in Hebrew shaliah) are considered legal messengers or agents that carry the authority of the one who sent them and who carry out actions on their behalf.

Coins are very similar in that they are monetary representatives. Coins are given a specific value based on what they are made of and how they are imprinted. In most modern economies, we can’t walk into a store with raw silver, nickel, or copper and use it the way we would a coin. The metals the coins are made out of are given much more weight simply through the minting process.

When we become carriers of Christ by the Spirit, we too are minted in a way. We are stamped with the face or image of God, and it completely changes our value. We are no longer simply flesh; we carry the weight of glory and the authority of the One who sits at the right hand of God. We have been stamped with the very nature of God.

Again, these are truths we know as Christians, but we don’t always actively walk in the dominion that God has bestowed upon us. Our divine authority is akin to having billions of dollars at one’s disposal to carry out our employer’s will and good plans but not using it out of ignorance, fear, or insecurity. In truth, we received authority at the dawn of creation when God determined that humanity would be made in His image and “rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground” (Genesis 1:26). God created us to reign and operate as an extension of Him in the earth.

While sin may have disconnected us from this position of honor in creation, Christ’s sacrifice has restored it. Our value as sons and daughters of God is intrinsic and unchanging, even when we lose sight of it. Often the trials of life and the gravity of the earthly realm can cause us to get off track in our divinely appointed purpose. However, the Spirit within us is ever ready to help us stay on course with the work God has sent us to accomplish.

Colossians 1:21-23 (TPT) Even though you were once distant from him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, he reconnected you back to himself. He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored, if indeed you continue to advance in faith, assured of a firm foundation to grow upon. Never be shaken from the hope of the gospel you have believed in. And this is the glorious news I preach all over the world.

Isaiah 22:22-24 (AMP) “Then I will set on his shoulder the key of the house of David; When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open. I will drive him like a peg in a firm place, And he will become a throne of honor and glory to his father’s house. So they will hang on him all the honor and glory [the complete responsibility] of his father’s house, offspring and issue [of the family, high and low], all the least of the articles, from the bowls to all the jars.

A prophetic download by Naudia Willbroad entitled “Come Sit With Me” is connected to this.

Come sit with Me My child. Restore yourself in Me. I will replenish you. I will give you new vision. I will restore your heart for those in need. Come sit at My feet and hear My heart. Hear how it cries out for the wounded and broken. Hear how it cries out for you: to restore you, replenish you, feed you, give you water for your dry and thirsty land.

You are precious to Me. I do not want you spent. I do not want you empty. Be refilled and renewed in Me. Be made whole. Be restored. Then your vision will become clear. Then you can see what I am doing and join Me.

Come My beloved, sit at My feet and learn from Me. Be filled with Me. Then you may go and pour yourself out.

Return to Me continually for I am your source. I will never run dry. My beloved I am so proud of what you do but what I desire is for you to be with Me. Come see what I am doing. Come be with Me. Walk with Me. Sit with Me. Learn from Me. Then you will have My heart. My heart beats for all My children. So many have gone astray. Bring them back to My fold. Restore them to Me. My heart is for them. My heart aches for them. I am a jealous God.

Beloved be restored in Me and I will make you fishers of men. You care for My sheep. You feed My sheep. Now I am calling you to step out and find My lost sheep. You are the shepherd I have called. Renew yourself in Me. Beloved, come and be with Me and all this will come to pass.  Love forever, Abba Papa

A Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “Refuse to Be Silent.

Acts 18:9 (TLB) One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t quit!

Beloved, refuse to shrink back. Refuse to be cowed. No ploy of the enemy or criticism of man is worth bowing to fear. I AM with you. My grace sustains you. You are worthy and beloved by Me – not for what you do, but for who you are. And yet stand fast, refuse to be moved. Refuse to allow your testimony to be tarnished or stolen. You are able to withstand. My grace is sufficient.

For I, even I, have put the words in your mouth. So let them flow forth – allowing them to flow unhindered –  planting seeds and watering each in their season. And watch beloved, for I will surely plant them in fertile ground and that will yield beautiful fruit. Rich is the reward.

Another Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s also called “Refuse To Be Silent.”

Isaiah 62:6 (AMP) On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed and stationed watchmen (prophets), Who will never keep silent day or night; You who profess the Lord, take no rest for yourselves,

Beloved, be relentless in your prayers. The enemy will always be persistent and tactical in his attacks, so be persistent and tactical in yours by staying focused and intentional in prayer. Allow My Holy Spirit to lead and guide you. Refuse to be silenced. Cry out. Declare truth and life.

I AM the way. I AM the truth. I AM the life. Declare the truth of Who I AM and the authority I hold into every situation and circumstance. Nothing is too hard for Me. I AM mighty. I AM strong. I AM the Lord of Heavenly Armies and I will not be defeated.

The “WATCHMAN” card from D4Yart Deck 1 is connected to this. The card is based on the “Watchmen” Dyed4you Art piece, and it reads, “Be vigilant and be intentional to avoid negative influences (both from within and without). Lead by example. Release behaviors or thought patterns that drain your emotional resources or shift you into a negative headspace. Cultivate relationships that are life-giving.”

A prophetic download from Jessica Smith of Jessica Smith Art is connected to this. It’s called “There’s Strength in the Command.”

This is a word the Holy Spirit whispered in my ear one morning as I was waking up. His words came to life as they were played out in a vision.

The Holy Spirit said to me, “THERE’S STRENGTH IN THE COMMAND! WHEN YOU GIVE THE COMMAND IT THEN BECOMES A SPEAR THAT YOU THROW AT THE ENEMY!”

I saw spears so thick and tall and fatal being hurled with incredible accuracy and deathly speed at the spiritual enemies of our souls!

This is the reality of the declarations and commands of faith in the mighty name of Jesus! There is strength in our verbal commands against the devil in the authority of Jesus. More than we realize.

Don’t become discouraged or hopeless when your rebukes, declarations and commands don’t seem to be working. They are. Sometimes a demonic giant is so big it takes many spears to bring it down. Dig your heels in and hurl those verbal spears at the enemy. Renounce him. Rebuke him. Command him to leave.

Declare who Jesus is and what His blood accomplished for you on the cross. Command the enemy out of your marriage, away from your children, out of your body, out of your house. Name the bondages and fiercely rebuke them. Command life to your sick body. Command hope to your depressed soul. Command peace in the midst of chaos. And so forth. You are a warrior and your weaponry is mighty in the tearing down of strongholds.

2 Corinthians 10:4 (AMP)The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

A Word called “Let My Voice Roar Through You” from Elisa Eaton of Waiting in the Wings is connected to this.

Matthew 10:27 (NKJV) Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.

Beloved, you are one who continually sits at My feet. You eat from My hand and are eager to soak in every word that I say. As a result, you know My voice. Even more, your persistence in maintaining intimacy with Me means that you know My heart. The result of your intimacy and choice to seek Me above all else means that My Voice now bubbles up from within you continually. I have rubbed off on you and there is no turning back, My love!

When I call you to step forward and speak on My behalf, do not be surprised when you are met by a storm of contrary voices. As you know, a servant is not greater than his master. If the world spoke lies against Me and tried to silence Me, then do not be surprised or alarmed that the world desires to do the same to you. Whether this storm of voices are echoes from your past or part of your present, resist the urge to come into agreement with them. For I have not called you to back down. Instead, make an effort to still yourself and find My voice again. You will know it because it roars above the rest! I speak in love and truth and faithfully declare that you are ever the apple of My eye.

Remember that your voice carries weight, beloved—in heaven and on earth. Like a musical instrument that has been shaped to bring forth a unique sound, you have been shaped and refined to speak with authority, to bring forth fresh revelation of My Word, and to release My will into the earth. I have called you by name and it is My will to see you prosper in your role as a king and priest—as My most beloved Bride who stands by My side. Resist the urge to allow fear, shame, or guilt to cause you to hold back from walking in your calling and speaking on My behalf. These things belong to the old man that was crucified, and I have raised you to newness of life. If you remain silent, then My unique message and fresh revelation through you will remain unheard. Therefore, speak the words you hear from My heart, and do not be afraid. Let My voice roar through you.

Matthew 16:19 (NKJV) And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

A final Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “The Power of One.”

Ezekiel 22:30 (VOICE) I searched for one man among them, a man who could build the wall and stand in the gap before Me and advocate for the land, a man who could convince Me not to destroy it; but I found no one.

Beloved, don’t underestimate the impact of one person, one voice. I am looking for one person to agree with My heart, let that be you. Stay tuned to My frequency. Let what moves Me, move you. Then respond accordingly. Trust My Spirit to lead.

The enemy will always seek for ways to silence and distract you, so keep your heart in tune with Mine and refuse to be silenced, refuse to be scattered, refuse to be moved. Never underestimate the power of one, the power you hold as you align with Me.

Isaiah 62:6 (CSB) Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen on your walls; they will never be silent, day or night. There is no rest for you, who remind the LORD.

{Artist note} This piece was seven years in the making. I often will start a piece but pause if the elements aren’t coming together in a way that resonates. I’ve come back to this piece multiple times over the years, but then *suddenly* when Ezekiel 33:7 was highlighted, it all finally came together. As I pondered why the lengthy creation time, I first sensed a maturation process. I also sensed a willingness to wait until *the* right moment. That knowing that comes when you’re moving in step with God and can feel the synchronicities aligning. For me, this comes back to the heart of this piece. When we are watchmen, our role isn’t only to watch but to speak. But equally important is knowing when and what to speak. Sometimes things are highlighted for you to see and simply pray over. Other times things are highlighted and God opens a door for you to speak. With wisdom and maturity comes the understanding of those nuances.

Father, may we have eyes to see, ears to hear, singleminded focus, and the wisdom to know what to do with what is revealed.
