In Every Season

In Every Season reminds us to stand fast in our faith regardless of the season and our circumstances. He is God.

“There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven – A time to be born and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to throw away stones and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing. A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; A time to keep silent and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate; A time for war and a time for peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 AMP

In the times when things are dying and life seems to wither before our eyes, You are God. In the times when all seems barren and cold, and it feels like nothing will ever flourish again, You are God. In the times when we see restoration and life bursting forth, You are God. And in the times when Your promises of yes and amen abound and life flourishes around us, You are God. We will rejoice in every season. We will bless Your name in every season. We trust You to bring forth that which accomplishes Your good will through each and every season. And we trust that You will take us through the seasons You believe are best for us. We trust you.

Father, though we may not always understand, we choose to trust because You haven’t promised that we will understand, You have promised You will work it all for our good. So we yield, we trust you, and we believe You are good – regardless of what we see before us. We refuse to be moved by circumstance. Your character is steadfast and beyond questioning. Thank You for loving us and for Your patience with us. In every season, You are God.
