Winter Has Passed

Winter_SMWinter Has Passed represents that moment of breakthrough as a season of barrenness blossoms into a season of flourishing.

My beloved speaks and says to me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing [of birds] has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. Song of Solomon 2:10-12 (AMP)

The silk in this image is called Love Awakening and the colors in it are wisteria representing gentle affection, maroon representing love song, beige representing steadfastness, storm representing cleansing, plum representing intimacy, and white representing purity.

Rise beloved, the Father is calling you. The cleansing that came from the rain of the last season has created a fertile environment for rapid growth, so now watch as the dry places begin to bloom with life.  His word will not return void and His promises are yes and amen.

Father may we flourish at Your touch, may Your breath bring forth life, and may the growth be both abundant and visible. To You be all the glory!

This portion of scripture is very dear to my heart! Your art depicts so accurately the yearning of my heart for more of Him after He whispered my name during a particularly hard ‘winter’…..THANK YOU for your beautiful expression!

Very timely piece. Some days I fell like I’m experiencing “winter”. Can’t wait for my spring to come and the rain to fall again.

I have a testimony to share about this piece!! A few weeks ago, I was in the midst of worship and pressing in to the Father when He gave me a picture/vision that was very impactful for me. It was a vision of Yahweh’s glory being held back by His wings in a protective sort of way that beckoned me to pursue Him and worship Him. In a way, I could see Him peaking out from under His wings watching the worship. He was holding back His glory for our protection b/c if He let the fullness of Himself flow forth…it would overwhelm us and we would be unable to sustain His glory.

To tie in how this piece relates: At the end of worship, I felt led to go to the my mentor and ask for prayer. During her prayer over me, she had a vision of me and a dove over me. And this past shabbat, I was gifted with this piece!!! What a beautiful confirmation of the season He is currently taking me through. All praise, glory, and honor to Abba. He moves and speaks to us in the most a

When you are half asleep and half awake that is a time where you are in such a relaxed state it’s easier to hear from God, a time evocative of where Heaven meets Earth, a time behind the veil. this picture reminds me of that time, and the lady is about to soar from earth to heaven but yet heaven is there on earth and this a glimpse through the veil. lovely work Meghan x

Love the idea of the end of winter beginning of spring, the white snow covers over everything and it’s pure and clean and fresh then when it melts away revealing the new coming forth from the things that were once dead… Father does that purifying us thru the blood making us pure white once again 😍😍😍
