Releasing All

ReleasingAll-SMReleasing All depicts one who is holding nothing back from the Father – hands and arms open – yielded to His perfect will.

“I came naked from my mother’s womb,” he said, “and I shall have nothing when I die. The Lord gave me everything I had, and they were his to take away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job 1:21 (TLB)

There is a freedom that comes with completely releasing all to the Father; our plans, our will, our desires fully surrendered to the One who is sovereign and who knows what is best for us and best for the kingdom.  As we truly open ourselves and allow Him to be Lord of All – removing all sense of entitlement or need to understand – He can truly be glorified.

The name of the silk in this image is Cherished One. The colors in it are apple green representing praise, dark teal representing abundance, emerald green representing healing and prosperity, sky blue representing grace, and white representing pure-hearted bride.

Father, when we don’t understand – we will choose You. We yield all to You and to Your will. You are faithful and fully deserving of our unreserved trust so we release all and soar in the freedom of You!

I want to make some sort of comment, but again–for the 2nd time in as many days–your art has left me speechless. I know that you have, indeed, experienced a great loss, and to see that THIS is your response is extremely humbling to me as a believer. I feel like I need to sit down and take stock of my life and my attitudes and my “sense of entitlement” and “need to understand.” You are making a profound impact with this one, my sister. Thank you.

    Meghan,
It is truly a gift to process life through your creativity. The Lord really highlighted this to me when you started posting the progress on my FB timeline. I believe it is a timely word for many. Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing the promise you stand on. You are such a blessing!

I was unaware of your loss and extend my condolences. And your releasing all declaration is the fourth I’ve heard in the past week, of the being my own. It is a powerful place to be, that place of choosing HIM above all else, feelings fresh with tears, crushing, bruising, pain, bathed by release in love, healing, and peace. Clinging to “weeping may endure for a night, but joy come in the morning.”

The great love, joy and peace radiates to me from this picture.
