Not by Sight depicts the joy and blessing received through a complete surrender to the Lord.
“…for we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7
The silk covering her eyes in this image is called Blind Faith. The colors in it are turquoise representing life-giving flow of the Holy Spirit, white representing childlike faith, purple representing kingdom authority, light olive representing fresh oil, and silver shimmer representing strengthened faith.
One of the scriptures that goes with this scarf is from Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”
The silk covers her eyes because it demonstrates a willingness to choose to walk blindly – fully trusting the One leading – because she walks by faith, not by sight. She is joyous and praising the One she knows she is safe to trust. And He rains down His blessings from above on the one so pleasing to Him.
I pray that you would choose to surrender your “need” to see and instead walk by faith and allow the One who is trustworthy to lead you and guide you. To Him be all the glory!

Wow I love it. I just was learning that we go through a change of “wineskin”/structure every 7 years and a change in administration every 12 – this is to keep us/body walking in faith. We never will “get there” in this world – He wants a walk of faith! Excellent Meghan!

It is def a beautiful reminder that we need to walk in the unseen for it is eternal!! I love this:) The stars though really captured me in, because when we look at the stars that stand still that is all of us in His heart:) We Never move from His heart:) Awww, I just love Him!!

Love the look on her face. Walking by faith may not be easier, but is definitely more full of anticipation, wonder, joy, peace, awe than walking by sight. Then again, that sounds easier doesn’t it. Depends which side your viewing it from, before you are walking by faith or after. 🙂
